Wow man, when did you film this ? I didn't know this line and station were still operational. I used to take that train to get home from school in Autun when I lived there in 1981...
Inspiring music and video [I could visualise a mixture of flatcars and boxcars going by when the picture cut out for a few brief moments]...really enjoyed it.....
It's an upperclass handmade Cajun accordion built by Rusty Sanner, a former student of maker Randy Falcon. Key of D, and with a very fast feel when you play it. It has a very loud and overtone rich sound. Made of dark-brown stained highly flamed maple with Binci a Mano reeds and maple reedblocks, very suited for Cajun and Quibecois fast players. - Yes, it's for sale too .........
One of the most atmospheric videos I have seen on YouTube. Thanks, great playing - and I love the dog! My dog usually bolts for cover when I get my accordion out!
Thanks, this dog is a special one, either sleeps through all the racket, or puts her head between your knees waiting patiently 'till you finally stop playing and scratch her behind the ears ....
Thanks Nout - this is great. Love the dog and Rusty's accordion too.
