I actualy had the same problem...minus the blue screens. The problem was in fact dust. All I did was just clean the heatsink on it and the fan of course, and it worked fine, been running at normal temps ever since :)

Yeah those Canon P&S cameras are great for short videos, and quick to get the video from, just straight off of your card and into the editor (WMM is fine) to compress it.. I got a Canon A540, it does pretty good video, although the audio has minor glitches (mic picks up internal motor sounds).

Keep up what you are doing Chris, You were the best on Call For Help! :)

Another piece of advice on a computer auto restarting is to go into System Properties > Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatically Restart. You should get BSODs instead with more info on the problem if it is hardware. Sometimes it can be bad RAM (which is what happened to me)
