@interlagos80s i used the mini gatling gun shrouds. the ones that came with it. they are supposedly suppose to snap on but i put some silicone around the edges to make sure it stays on
@nodrog321 what color are the projectors at a far distance? mine are tsx and i colormodded them and the cutoff has blue/purple but when i drive behind ppl they say its white. I guess im not far enough?
@interlagos80s the cutoff on the wall is blue. not sure if its cause my DDM bulbs are bluish to begin with, but when i look at it straight on from outside, its a little bit blue. i didnt do any color mod at all, just plug and play.
@nodrog321 hey i forgot to ask you, what harness did you need to buy for your hid kit in order to use the h1 mini ? my accord right now is also using 9006 bulbs and i have a hid kit thats currently using d2s bulbs but i need what you are using or else i cant use these projectors... they are awesome btw, was it easy installation? just plug into the original headlights housing bulb hold corect? thanks
@MarioLoco03 yup, did the install myself. real easy. just need a heat gun, couple of clamps, and some time. run the heat gun around the edge of the headlight housing, start prying from the high beam corner and go around the housing. install everything, get everything aimed, and heat up the existing glue and clamp the housing back together and youre good to go
@MarioLoco03 DDM is hit and miss IMO. had the set for around a year and one of the ballasts gave out. got it replaced by DDM for free, just had to ship it back. however, i have another set i installed in another car and its been almost two years and everything is still working perfect.
The results are just something that I never thought would be possible. AMAZING, for what i paid for. I can only imagine how much better the expensive retrofits can be.
Btw after i installed my, there are two slanted lines in my cutoff line. I am talking about the \ part. I have one for each projector,
I thought i was supposed to line them both together so they look like one. Is it okay to have two ? The reason why I am asking is because i never see anyone online that has two.
@AliGhanizad the reason why the steps are like that is because in the US, the signs are on the right side, so the right side is higher to illuminate signs, people, etc. and not the other way because then it would blind the drivers on the other side of the road. It will be opposite in places like Europe, Asia, etc.
Is it possible to adjust the aim of your projectors after you have installed them? I'm thinking of doing a retrofit on my Accord and want to make sure it's possible to adjust the aim if needed down the road.
@robnarley you will be able to adjust the vertical aim through the original aim screw from under the hood. this will adjust both the low beams and high beams. since these projectors are just "plug and play", meaning i just had to put it through the hole and tighten on the back, there were no aiming the projectors THEMSELVES involved, only rotating it so the cut off is straight.
@590221010 these are actually 35W 4500k DDM HIDs. With the whole thing with DDM misrepresenting their HID temperatures, I am not exactly sure what temperature mines are, but i did order 4500k. They look a hint of blue when you look at them from outside maybe because of the cutoff shield from the projectors.
Do you live in the United States and if so how lond did it take for them to be shipped to you and what site. The reason I ask is that I want to know if you bought them from a real site before I give out my credit card information.
@fabiotasica no i did not have to cut my headlights for this projector for my car. i cant say for any other cars though. however i did need to shave off part of my HID bulb bases as they are too big to fit. i have heard there ARE some bulbs that fit but it is hard to find which ones. its not too big of a deal, i used a hand file to shave it little by little but some people use a dremel.
@iovaykind yea, at first i did exactly that, one inch lower 25 feet away. but it looked a little low so i raised it about an inch. so far, havent had anyone flash me for glare or anything so i guess its alright.
what shrouds do you have? what did you use to attach them? thanks

Hello, did you need to cut or mod your headlight with this projector?
Because i need one that don't need to cut my headlight. So i can uninstall the projectors when i sell the vehicle.
And i can install on the next vehicle that i will buy too.
Thank you.

Nice parallel aiming.. I'm a fan of that too but sometimes it's aimed a little too high so I go with an inch drop over 25ft
