@ForeverLethal You're right. Ernie doesnt usually take that long, though you can always tell when he's realyly going to let loose at one because he takes that little bit longer to get set over the ball.

After hit the ball like tiger woods and nothing changes,at last i finally sees the light

i got my own repeatable swing identical to ernie els!

But my rhythm is much slower than ernie els.

I try this swing and i effortlessly carries the ball 280-290 yards!

I'm 16 5'9'' 217 pounds but my weight is often changes so this will not

lasts long my height is somewhat short compare to ernie or my friend.

If you watch carefully notice the way his left foot has to 'jump' out of the way on the follow through ....if he turned it out more to the left at address to allow the leg to rotate in the follow through he would be even smoother and less likely to put strain on his left knee , hip and ankle .

we may actually be looking at tigers new swing....ernie used to swing more aggressivley b/f his knee trouble and this is his swing after surgery which is much more efficient. If you have the ability to strike it like a pro go more aggressive...but if your an amateur this is one of the best rythmic tempos to follow.

I wouldn't says its a perfect swing given that the positions aren't any better than any of the other great swings at the moment. His rythem is of course the main attraction but you also have to consider the results.

don't get me wrong, ernie is one of my favorite players. But can we stop this tiger vs. ernie madness? Two completely different animals. no one compared ray allen to michael jordan or claimed he was a better player just because his jumpshot is smoother and have better fundamentals. michael jordan won championships hitting shots while fading away, leaning forward, backwards, eyes closed...... both great players, but apples and oranges.

Can someone explain why Tiger Woods does not learn to swing like this? It's not like he doesn't have the coordination, physical skills, time, money, and incentive to do it. And with his power and flexibility and this swing, he would absolutely kill the ball and hit it straighter and with more consistency and less uncertainty and stress. He would be even more unstoppable than he already is.
