Furminator Works!!!

I got one for the family yesterday. Its the best thing since sliced bread! The only grooming tool that does the job and really well. One short haired cat, and I have half a bucket of hair! Into the worm farm it goes to compost down. Even worms love it. (Hair is high in nitrogen so is a big boost for compost to enhance roses bloom!) Just loving it! You do have be prepared for first use, something to dump hair in before it gets every where, and wear old clothes as fur will stick to you .

I don't think that's furminator, furminator has that button on top that releases the fur when pressed.

Thank you very much for this demonstration. I am used to owning dobermans, but I recently rescued a Shar Pei. He is shedding like crazy and hates the slicker brush. I was shopping around on Amazon and trying to decide which brush to buy. Looks like the furminator wins!

i thin kfor short haired dogs it doesn't fly everywhere. i own a great pyr, two huskys, one short and one long. when i use the furminator on the two long haired dogs its like a tornado of hair. my dog haired dog, not so much. but FURMINATOR DOES WORK!

I have a German Shepard mix and I use it on her when she starts shedding. It really works and keeps shedding down.

It's better to try online first. I work at Petsmart in the grooming salon and we use them, but in the store they can cost up to $70. They are amazing!

@BuckSkinningBaby It is definitely an amazing tool. Definitely best if you do it weekly. I get lazy about it sometimes, but still make sure I do it at least every cpl of weeks.

We use deShedder by Furminator and it is sooo great you can use it on cats and dogs and its great because we have a norwiegen cat and they have lots of fur and we have never seen our cat look so good (and so much dead fur come off) now he has soft fur and my god we got a lot of fur of him (OUR VET RECOMMENDED IT) it was 65 SFR it's not cheap but it lasts 10 cats if you dont leave it blade down so it becomes blunt but it's GREAT try it if you have a dog or cat with lots of fur!!!!!!!!

I love my furminator!! I can't imagine life without it now. I got mine off Ebay for $15 including shipping. I also bought the shampoo and conditioner and all three work incredibly well together. We have 2 dogs and they both shed like crazy so the furminator is a must have.

THIS IS PERFECT! I have a husky and a german/husky and they shed sooo much! I had bought a regular dog brush cuz da lady at the store said it would be best, psh what a liar. I am so getting the Furminator

My vet just told me about the furminator today for my lab mix. She said it would cut down on my having to vacuum every day. She said she uses it for her 2 dogs (both short haired shedders, 1 is a lab mix) and it's the best de shedder she's ever tried but I wanted to see how it worked. Great video! I'm definitely sold! I love how the fur stays all together.

i have a black lab that has two thick layered coats and the normal desheding tool doesnt get alot of hair off and my lad is a real sheder, so would the Furminator work better and get more hair off her?

@RianKitty Absolutely! It will put that normal deshedding tool to shame. I would advise using it once a week on heavy shedding breeds.

Adopting an 8-yr old Collie-Shepard mix that needs serious, regular grooming. Appreciate the shedding blade comparison - I have one of those, and you're right - the hair flies everywhere! I'm sold on the furminator!

That's almost the wish after I look around and see everywhere her fur has settled! I had to slow down on Mystice rollin' in the truck with me b/c the shedding is just ridiculous! This certainly helps.

I do it once a week. It really keeps Mystic's shedding down to a minimum. How often you need to do it depends on your dog's shedding.
