OK I just had to comment on this: 1) The Quran was edited by no one unlike the bible. Its the only reveletion of God that remained authentic as it was revealed to prophet Muhammed. 2)The quran does not promote violance to disbelievers. You have verses in the quran about a battle between muslims and nonbelievers where Allah gave muslims permission to fight those were fighting them for their religion and driving the muslims out of their homes.

OK I just had to comment on this: 1) The Quran was edited by no one unlike the bible. Its the only reveletion of God that remained authentic as it was revealed to prophet Muhammed. 2)The quran does not promote violance to disbelievers. You have verses in the quran about a battle between muslims and nonbelievers where Allah gave muslims permission to fight those were fighting them for their religion and driving the muslims out of their homes.
