no its definately not a sheep head reasons being 1) sheephead are saltwater fish or usually brakish and 2) sheephead has whiteand black stripes on them
well I hear more no than yes so Im gonna assume its not. However there really are freshwater sheephead. I just wonder what they look like compared to saltwater sheephead?
i really have no idea.. but i fish in east bay in texas and we catch all sizes of sheephead and i have never seen a fish like that. also sheephead only have gray and black on them including the fins
it is a freshwater sheephead the yellow gives it away

lol last week i caught a 10lb sheephead and one after that at around 3.5-4lb.. Was using canned corn for bait, the smell attracts it really well..
