@MelynndaK Your comment "Support them or stand in front of them" really hit home with what my friend does. He has gone to many war zones with Christian Peacekeepers and gets between men with guns. I think he is nuts but I also admire his bravery. God bless your husband and keep him safe.

Hey, thank YOU for standing behind your loved one and supporting him. There is no greater morale boosting than knowing that your wife, your girlfriend, or your mother, is back there, at home, and supporting what one does for his or her country. I was relieved by your husband (Vandoo to PPCLI), I hope that he is doing good. I am a proud french-Canadian.... We are not all "fuckin' Quebecers"!!! We are certainly one of a kind, but, most of us are bearers of the Maple Leaf...Je Me Souviens!!!!!!

Thanks...Although, I did not make this, it describes pretty much what I went through during my tour of duty over there. I have to admit, war is adictive, in the sense that, adrenaline is like a fuckin drug, man...That being said, Once you experience it, you realize that, there is no glory or even honor in it...Killing other human beings is not "cool"...Unless you are a psychopath!!!! This is not Hollywood!!
