i just realize the track is a spiral down to the left and the lift takes you back to the top and corkscrews down again. i always just thought it was a teliporter.. also realized it looks like to be in a giant building. towering above a city (probably Tokyo)... such a wild and amazing imagination these guys had making this game.... this is without a doubt my favorite game of my childhood. i cant explain how memorized i was with this game.

Hate this level, I think it has terrible design overall. All those slides up there are way to tin and it's so frustrating trying to stay on them. The best levels are the first 3 and then things go down hill after that. Too bad though, it's still a great game.

@owenman123 Tricky is fun, but once you get good at it you can get Uber boost right away and the rest of the race is a bit boring. SSX3 is my favorite. On Tour had some cool elements but the rubber-band AI was annoying. Blur had great potential but was just too frustrating.

@MrsJosephAdamJonas95 The key with this one is not to use boost on the rails (otherwise the jumps fly too far), don't jump on the jumps (again you fly too far) and tilt the analog stick (not the d-pad - unlike proper spins) to the side for a moment to line up the board at cross angles against the grind (as is always a good idea to finish off with if you want to land on a rail).

Tick all that and its dead easy.

@MrsJosephAdamJonas95 Practice and some luck :) The easiest way to get on the rail for the first lap is to stay to the left of the starting chute and enter the air duct via the upper opening as you can see at the start of this video. From there on it's a matter of careful balancing and not getting too carried away with the boost.

SSX3 is probably my favorite, but this one is fun. It has most of the courses from the original SSX (with a few changes) and adds uber-tricks, although not as sophisticated as the ones in SSX3. Also, once you get the super boost it stays full for the rest of the race. Rahzel does voiceovers for both of the first games, which could be good or bad depending on how much of him you can handle.
