@bubles0nskye Hi there! Thanks for coming by! Yes, when you go to the market go ahead and look for brisket. If you can't find it ask the butcher for help. That pot is a very heavy Dutch oven pot made by Le Crusset (I am not completely sure about the spelling!) I hope this helps and happy cooking!
The best food came from the creativity and resourcefulness of people that had very little. Some of my favorite food came from when I lived in the Southern US. Brisket is a classic cut of meat that, with a little love and time, will be well worth the effort. Great job!
Hi Mary Ann. It's me, Justin. Why do continue to torture me(in a GOOD way)with your majestic dishes? I mean...ummm...uuuhhh...errrr...Man...I'm speechless. Sheesh. Lol
My father would LOVE this!! I don't really like meat, but he does a lot haha. I will show him this video soon, he might make it. Although he doesn't like carrots.
Brisket is always pricey here but I sure do like it. I make a beef dish with carrots wine broth tomoato paste but cooks hours. This looks similar. Just heard four hours so it's very similar to what I make. Thanks for sharing your version sweets.
Yummo ! Great Comfort Food !!! Mouth watering ! I bet the carrots were to die for too !! Looks incredible! $2. wine ??? Not in Canada !!! More like $12 - I kid you not ! Oh for American liquor store prices! Heading north for the wknd and some much needed R & R. Have a wonderful weekend !!!
haha, my cousins introduced me to two buck chuck when i was in LA. it ain't bad to drink!

Hi, I love your videos. I'm "extremely" new at cooking. May I ask you some questions?
1. When I go to the market, do I look for brisket?
2. What kind of pot is that?
LOL... thanks!

I love brisket!!! Thanks Mary Ann.
ps. I am not a drinker myself but I have cooked with wine at times. the alcohol evaporates. something else can always be substituted for the wine.
LESTER7L1 1 year ago
@LESTER7L1 Absolutely. Only broth works fine. Half broth and half water would work fine as well.
