I doubt this is actually as durable as he says. the reviews on the actual ergo m93 are not very positive, and in gearscout's testing they were the least durable of all the stocks tested.

I still want Magpul PTS to make a stock that fits crane stock sized batteries. Nothing against LiPos, but I'd prefer to stick with lower maintenance NiMH batteries if I can.

I'm all for using replica stuff in airsoft, but if you're expecting to bust your gear in the field, you won't buy two products for almost the same price as one you guess it wouldn't break.

Except withstanding recoil, I think an AEG/GBB should survive as long as a real steel if you beat it up.

@bf2lover42 It should. I cannot imagine how could I NOT beat the crap out of my gear, gun and body while playing... "Acceptable" for kids means "waiting for it to break" for me. Only "airsoft" stuff on me is gun (TM P90TR) and mags (TM low caps). EVERYTHING else that I use is real stuff.

I have bought both the high-end and the low-end gear, and by acceptable I mean it does the job without me having to worry about it breaking. If people are willing to waste their money just because a brand name has some perceived quality then go ahead, but do not deny that they are indeed over priced for what they are.

OH WOW, so now I don't have to worry about my stock breaking from the immense recoil of a 5.56 or 7.62, and I don't have to worry about the shrapnel and blast of IEDs. I can get ACM Magpul rail covers for half the price or less, comes with 4x the rails AND will last just as long.

@MudHut67 Magpul makes their stocks for real steel weapons, if you use a chinese version it will usually shatter under excessive recoil, these are PTS but can still handle recoil, I know. Don't hate on Magpul, they have the best quality control and customer service I've ever seen, you probably didn't have to find out because their stuff doesn't break.

Magpul PTS designs their products for airsoft use, which do not need to withstand recoil, and it is over priced. I am quite sure that your generic ACM stuck could withstand recoil, maybe not for thousands of rounds, but why it need to?

@MudHut67 Designed not to withstand recoil but it does it so well, a friend put on the PTS stock on his AR15, its stood up, you have to start to heavily use something before you can appreciate the quality control and how tough their products are. Don't hate on Magpul, they are my favorite company after working with their products for some time now.

@MudHut67 Compared to some of the licensed companies, they're not that bad for smaller parts. I don't plan on paying for a PTS Masada "AKM", but I paid a hell of a lot less for my MOE furniture than I would have if I'd bought Madbull parts.
