@YOUNG3MINEM A brain aneurysm like having a balloon in your brain that ruptures. Most people die from them. We were told by her doctor that her recovery was equal to someone falling out of an 8th story window and surviving.

I like this series. I know how you feel in some ways. I still have my mom but back in 2006 I lost my grandmother who I was close with and then almost to a year later, lost my only aunt. Sports help me too deal with losing a love one.

I had that feeling in 2011,the day before Valentine's Day to be exact. My aunt was sleeping in her room when she stopped breathing.My grandma called while I was doing online math homework that she's not breathing. My brother stayed with my grandma So my parents tried to save her along with paramedics and when we got there,i was put the waiting room. Then my dad announced that she died. I had to theraphy for two months after that. She did not see my brother and finish high school.

I know the feeling Matt. Lost my Grandmother in 2007, she lived a couple of hundred miles away, was a diabetic, and had a heart attack. No-one even found her until the neighbours broke into her house to find her laid out in the kitchen. Never had a chance to say goodbye and I was extremely close to her. My thoughts and prayers with you and the family, give Cara and the kids a big cuddle from me.

I'm sorry for your losses man! I almost lost my grandma myself, shes just the sweetest lady you would ever meet she fell down the stairs and then after a mri scan we found out she had kidney cancer. And there I was just like, my god thats it! But she kept fighting through many other illnesses and we got the kidney removed and now shes back living at home. And the weird thing was my grandpa who died before I was born had Kidney cancer too. But we couldn't lose another one to that.

My grandma just died the ending up last year an i didn't get to say goodbye to her. She brought me back into my days life when i was a kid an i was close to her more than anything.

2009 was the worst year of my life. I was sick for 6 months, my grandfather passed away, my aunt had breast cancer(which she doesnt have anymore,thank god), my mom though she had it also but it was not, and my dog passed away because of myself. She died a day after my birthday and I wanted to go out for dinner 2 days early for my birthday, like the greedy idiot I am, and we got home and she hurt herself and broke her back, which happened in the past and she injured 3 herniated disks in her back

Im sorry for your lose Matt I know this will probably mean nothing to you but I still want to express my condolences. The past three years I have lost both my grandfathers who I was really close to and a lady with whom I was very close to and wouldn't mind her calling my grandma as I was almost daily with her almost everyday for 8 years although she was just a nice elderly lady who happened to be a neighbor.

Don't worry, 2010 was my worst year as well. My work shut down, my nephew moved to Australia, I divorced, my grandfather died and getting involved unintentionally in a pub fight that put me in hospital for a month. I had to sell my second home and have a makeshift hotel in my house to pay for the hospital bills. Last year was a great recovery, I got a great job as a rugby coach for a national team, I got an engagement with another woman and started getting fitter so I could play sport myself.
