Story about Wayne. Some good friends of mine lost their only child Ashley some years ago. Ashley's favorite band was The Lips. They went to see The Lips in honor of Ashley. They ran into Wayne before the show and told him about Ashley they talked and Wayne hugged her. During the show Wayne got the spot light and found my friends in the crowd and covered them in light and said something nice. Quality people them Flaming Lips.

When the singer talks about how hopelessly he lived his life, he's speaking in the past tense, meaning he's finally recognized how silly he was for thinking the way he did. He was waiting for a special moment, when all he had to do was pick one of the BILLIONS of moments passing by and make that one special on his own.

Fucking love the lips! Lyrics are great, creative and meaningful. Sounds are psychedelic and chill, the song title with all the creatively hilarious parenthetical subtitles, the eclectic sound, the unique life perspectives.

saw them live at Hedgepeth In Randall Wisconsin with Primus... Absoultely one of the most uplifitng times of my life. ate 3.7 of Mushies and when wayne got in his big blow up ball and rolled down the stage that cut the crowd. mine and his hands and eyes met as i touched the ball, it seemed as though i was in that corner of the world at that moment for all the right reasons, one of the strongest hallucenogenic revleations/epiphanies ever! my knees got weak it was so overwhelming. magical molds!!
