  • well yeah if you are used to a new picture showing every 10 seconds then you will be expecting one to happen before it does.

  • @wjc3516 It's not just expecting a picture; it's expecting a certain type of picture. The subjects' bodies react to emotional images *before* the image appears, even though the images are chosen randomly.
