Pitu help me out here!im not throlling around just wanna ask is optimus bigger then amp suit?i saw amp yesterday on local store and its huge enough and it makes me droll!I really wanted to pull the trigger for optimus,what say u?

i got to work on this big fella

they gave us the studio model to work from and we had to take the model ..which is ALL INDIVIDUAL parts and make them suitable for solid surface modeling.

I worked on the upper and lower arms. the upper arm alone was over 5 thousand individual parts that had to be welded and interconnected so the rapid printers could read the job.

@Oakbeast Did you have to triple post? Congrats on being a part of this piece, but come on.. It better consist of a ton of pieces and labor considering it costs over a grand..

The Initial Optimus file in 3d max was over 400 megs...if you didn't have a64 bit machine...don't bother even trying to load it.
