If you are interested in these players then you must get Alekhine's book on the 1924 New York Tournament where Reti, Marshall, Capablanca and Yates were all playing, it gives a superb description of chess of that era.

I think this is too much of a disrespect already, I would have taken this video off already if I was you. there is not reason to keep taking this kind of disrespect to some of the greatest chess players who ever lived
please take this video off in the name of Alekhine and Capablanca
ChessTheBlitzer, don't be surprised, it's not for the millions. I am co-owner of the only piano magazine in a language area of 20 million people, and we only have 2,700 subscribers, although the magazine has existed for 24 years. I wish I would get 19,000 subscribers in two years' time.
no he doesn't, it is very true that I would have taken this video down just for respect to all those great chess players (this video should be in a place where it would only get his real historical value, no here where all you fools only care about watching Fred)
I heard that interview with alekhine, good stuff. Does anyone know if any video at all exists of Alekhine as well? I can't believe that the guy was champion for 20 years (minus 2 in the middle) and he was never filmed playing or lecturing or being interviewed or something.
che giocatore Capablanca

How wonderful to see such greats as Capa and Spielmann, and how great to hear Ellington's 'Rockin' in Rhythm'!
