I would recommend listening to instrumentalists such as eric johnson to gain more knowledge on guitar i think it would really help you and you would enjoy it.

this is an amazing song, by a great band. i also had played it , alot! and Johnny is very good at what he does. i also like the Epiphone les pual w/ p 90's, i own a 2008 gibson les paul, and this epiphone sound just as good or if not better then mine, i have not changed anything to mine so it's stock but, to get off that subject, i am 14 and, if i couldplay like that when i was his age what 12?, i would been glad. Keep up thae good work.

I would never tell somebody thier guitar is shit even if it was . That is so un cool . It might be all they can afford . This is a great guitar and it plays awesome . If you had a epi you probably didn't have a pro set up on it which I recomend on all guitars , even Fender or Gibson . I gaurantee you SRV could have picked up a $100 Squier and made it sound better than anybody you know playing on a Fender . I am not saying it is better .

I am saying that the skill level of the player speaks for itself . Alot of people get hung up on brands and should focus thier attention on playing more . It is like golf . Brands always want you to think that you get a few yards more with one club or ball over another . And untill you hone your skills it don.t matter . If you suck you suck it is that simple . Everybody sucks at first so better to suck on a $100 guitar than a $1500 guitar cuz it doesn;t matter . Peace

I actually prefer epiphone over gibson, I belive that the gibson guitars are a bit over rated, they dont handle that well in my opionion, I like the SG but the les paul is way to heavy, imean you could kill someone with it.

verry nice job my friend but theres one thing that always intrigues me about these great guitarists is how they have unique versions of playing these songs as oposed to our tabs you can notice for example when uou start the main power chord riff

Thanks you . I can't speak for other people , but we listen to the cd or Ipod and we tab it based on what we hear . Sometimes we have found that tab books were not exactly right . And sometimes the players change the way they play it from studio to live so we just try and figure the easiest way of playing the same notes we hear .
