i gave up on this game. ppl didn't quit this much on 2k9 since it showed DNF. 2K needs to understand ppl latch on to dumb ass gimmicks like the ICONS from 2k9 or the Team 2K crap.

if u jump at the right time you hit the defender in midair

yeah he does. first u gottta pump fake and then when they r in the air, push the left analog stick towards the hoop and hit the right stick again as if u were shooting or pump faking, this has to be done while the player is still in the air. BUT WARNING, it doesnt always work haha sometimes attempting to git free throws can result in an ill advised shot but majority of the time it works. hope that helped :)

actually you can do good things on the defensive end. It takes a lot of practice and antisipation but you can get it. Kobe is freaking unstoppable on 2k10

First, I think neither defense was better. They both had their strong points. 2k9 had the shading, while 2k10 has intense D which allows for more harrasing. To play defense effectively you cant hold intense d, but instead follow your man and beat him to the spot and when you do beat him then use intense D.

Also to post up off the dribble you have to dribble directly towards the defender because its autopost. Its not like in 2k9 where you hold L2

hey - you need to make sure you download the latest patch (just log on to xbox live with the game loaded if you didnt know). Then go to your my player mode, load it, go to settings -> presentation -> quarter length. Hope this helps and happy new year!

I think 2k9's Lock on D was better because you could take away lanes better and force them to drive towards help. Id always take away the baseline drive and make them take the middle.

I agree with ladybanks305. When you buy a game, you want to be satisfied immediately - not months later. I bought some games afterwards, and I've just stayed into them. I played 2K10 the other day, and I'm just not even as familiar with it as I was before. I'm not buying another NBA game within 6 months of its release again. 2K has upset a lot of people, and I hope they learn from it.
