  • lol that music is so wrong for these women, but thanks for the laugh

  • actually, the girl was a h.s freshman when she made this for her class project. The music has nothing to do with the history or presentation, it was suppose to be like 'the wheel of fortune'. I was one of her classmates, we were taking a quiz on this and the music was suppose to entice us and keep us on our feet. :P

  • The music in this case is a real disaster .

  • I love the last shot.

  • love chanel but she was a slut

  • Great tribute, but I'm not clear why you chose that for the music? Not the best choice for 30s fashions? You lost me.

  • Gabrielle wasn't the founder of fashion but did make black become the color of Parisian fashion. She founded the first fashion house that reflected the preferences of women for shorter dresses and loose ones too to allow their legs greater mobility and to breathe. She had a sophsticated or aristocratic demure for her collections. Elsa was the other extreme in which some of her works were inspired by Salvador Dali, which explains the artistic expression in some of her dresses.

  • to say that Coco was the founder of fashion is absurd. fashions have existed since pre-civilization.

  • Yeah, I know. Marie Antoinette was a huge fan of fashion and was given the nickname "Queen of Fashion" due to those really extravagant hairstyles and dresses composed of multiple layers. When motherhood kicked in she had her seamstresses create loose, flowing dresses that didn't require many layers.

  • schiaparelli was more than just "coco's rival", the phrase 'founder of fashion' makes no sense, and this music is atrocious.

  • Funny, huh? There should be french music for the first half and italian for the second half, both coming from the 1920's.

  • they hated each other

  • No, they did not. They didn't like eachother due to artistic differences. Back in Elsa's time, everyone was just as interested in as they were in Gabrielle. The dislike came from the attitude towards design in which one is limited to a set of ideas for how one should look according to a mood and the other without limitations.

  • music is horrible.

  • Cheap American music. . ugh !

  • Elsa is my favourite...

  • @Sarlota Mine also!!!
