  • Total and utter SCUMBAGS every last one of them hope they are sent to jail for a very long time..........

  • If he is competent and tried to bail her out, I say no crime done. It's his money and he should be able to give it to whom he wishes.

  • I bet the family got involved when the sugar daddy gave her all those credit cards. 100g's in a MONTH? Stupid. I'm kinda on the fence about this... He was wheelchair bound & up there in age. She shouldn't have been so outrageous with that spending and she might have been free. The government takes from people all the time, & nobody does a damn thing. Just like the woman who inherited those 1933 gold coins & when she had them authenticated by the US treasury, they took 'em from her.

  • Her barefeet must make every guard very hard every time he goes down to shackle her. Her feet must reek.

  • haha....he aint no victim if he is trying to bail her out of jail probably her sugar daddy thinkin he may get lucky so he let her spend his money old people have needs too not all mens eyes and goober go with old age this is just crazy how can they lock up a woman and the victim bail her out that makes no sense

  • Me too, I would like to be cuffed like this woman.

  • If he was so rich why ain't he smart

  • My god... why r people fucken fighting... Its obvious who the victim is n who the smart one is. Why make it sooo fucken difficult? She is a fucken Sunt taking advantage of an elderly person, case closed. FUCK... WHY IS IT SOOO FUCKEN DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT? I can understand grandpa spending thousands over a one year period etc. but hundred thousand in a matter of weeks..!.. I have to be fucken selfish n stupid to think he knew what was up.

  • Up to the point she said he was a real estate agent and worked hard for his money, I felt sorry for him.

  • well then he's apparently not a victim if he's bailing her out of jail

  • is she playing with her chains?

  • @frankivalli Her nose itches

  • So the victim in this case actually tried to bail her out. Sounds like ... well that money was borrowed on his credit cards and she may have forged his signatures so they got a deadlock case against her.

  • this is how my boyfriend when we have sex

  • if that bitch took advantage of me and scammed me out of my money, she'll be 6 feet under!

  • Its a shame American Law Enforcement dont make the same example of criminal Wallstreet bankers, instead they are treated as saviours of the economy.

  • All countries could be good places to live, if it wasnt for the stupid people with power. Too many people with mental issues have power given by the society itself, or rich people in the society who are able to give power to their sons and daughters, even though they have serious mental problems.

  • Over-reaching District Attorney. Stop the abuse but "Criminal" I really don't think so. This young woman seems to be a fairly simple person and this situation was probably done without premeditation.

  • myxrell, shackling a thiny waitress like an animal is weird. Not all americans are retards but a lot of them are (like your racist judge in Louisana) and not only for one reason.

Thinking the world is going to collapse whthout the US, is typicall american overestimation.

  • Maybe you should use the Reply button when you reply to someone, instead of misspelling their name and not alerting them to your response.

The shackling may be weird, but it's how things go here. And in regards to the racist judge, he isn't -my- judge. I don't live in Louisiana.

Think I'm spouting typical American overestimation? Fine. See how things go if my country stops supporting any crybaby country out there with "Wa, natural distaster, help us!" or "Wa, in-fighting pwned us, help!"

  • SpirutualNightFoxx: no, they don't. In Belgium regulation is clear. Police is only allowed to use handcuffs (not footshakles), if the prisoner is a real danger for his environment or for him or herself. A thiny waitress taking advantage of a lonely old guy, is not dangarous this way.

  • she didnt do anything wrong in my opinion

  • what is the crime?

  • Good- im glad she spent his money, I would of done the same thing, except spent a hell of a lot more and made sure he'd keep his mouth shut. Mmmhh! i would love to catch an troubled old man like that.

  • I never thought I'd see the day where they arrest someone for something compeltely legal.

Immoral, yes. EXTREMELY immoral, but completely legal. And if that man's so senile he can't manage his own money, he belongs in a retirement home.

  • omg you guys are look at it like he is unable to make decisions on his own. if he is trying to bail her out then he clearly sees nothing wrong in the decision's she made. i guess when u reach a certain age money really means nothing. in his eyes he probably thinks he's a good thing, regardless how fucked up that lady really is.

  • He may also be at that age where logic and reason slip away and leave him a muddle-minded old guy who can't remember things clearly.

While I admire his good nature, either way, I still think he shouldn't be taken advantage of. 6 cars, 100k, dune buggies.... that's beyond being taken advantage of.

    That's damn near robbery. :/

  • While I think it was terrible to abuse the old man's trust like that, I don't think it's necessary for her to be shackled like that. I mean she didn't kill anyone and there should be a definite reason for putting those chains on someone.

  • I think justice may already be served. The group blew all the money, and whatever assets the man spent the money on have been recouped from them. I figure the woman lost her job and probably will have a hard time getting a new job, especially in this economy. Sadly, because of greed, she buried herself in a real fix. I'm sure she's kicking herself in the but for screwing up. She should have asked the man for a reasonable salary to be his girl friday. Would have been better off in the long haul.

  • A stripper at the Doll House in Myrtle Beach, SC milked an elderly man in the VIP Room while he kept falling asleep, and she racked up his credit card $7,500 in 5 hours. The strip clubs are allowed to con people of their money, and the states allow this for tax revenue, which is not moral. This woman can justify herself in her mind. If the court does not render justice, God will render his justice. It will come back on them who took advantage of the man.

  • god? you're kidding? you mean the magical talking zombie?

  • Inkey2 you made a very good point. If the family/heirs to his estate had been tending to the man's needs, they would not have an incentive to report the waitress. The waitress and her friends took advantage...no justification for conning the man of $100K in 4 months...she should pay the price. Yes, the US does treat arrest victims inferior to animals by shackling them...most are not even acting out to cause being shackled.

  • Why do americans always shackle prisoners like that. They aren't animals. US is a country of retards.

  • They do that in most countrys, Belgium too

  • We shackle prisoners like that as a means to ensure they don't flee or attack anyone (which isn't to say that just because they were the shackles means they will; it's more or less insurance for any given situation. People do weird shit under stress of being arrested).

You may think we're a bunch of retards for this one thing alone, but damn is it great to say that this world is going to collapse right after we do, because we support it.

    Sit and spin.

  • "People do weird shit under stress of being arrested"

A valid point and something I had not considered.. Thanks for the insight.

    BUT

If you think that the world will collapse if america collapses - you are gravely mistaken....

The world was just fine before america, and it will be just fine afterwards.

America acutally USES 80% of the world's resources, so it HARDLY supports the world! Besides, everytime I phone customer support, it's in fucking india!

  • The world has never been 'just fine'. And America's use of so many resources doesn't mean it doesn't or is incapable of supporting other countries.

We're usually the first country people turn to when they get fucked up by natural disasters or some kind of in-fighting.

I wouldn't mind seeing that stop, to be honest. Too many people think like you about America having no role in anything, so we might as well stop laying roles in everything.

See how you like us, then.

  • I will probably like you all more then, because I will see less of you...:-)

  • @Myxril do you know that the reason the US always sends support to other countries that go through natural disasters? Its to fool idiots like you to believe the US is a good country when it affairs in foreign policies. This way you think that the US not only helps when it wants oil (BUSH TAKING OVER IRAQ), but also when there is a issue. These good deeds are the maniupulations the USA uses to cover up its faulty foreign affairs.

  • @thisismysnfosho Idiots like me? You label me as such while asserting that I think my country does this kind of shit out of pure charity. I'm well aware of the situations of my country, the corruption, the lies, what's covered up, etc.

So you can jump the fuck off of a bridge into some shallow water, because in no way did I assert that my country does these charitable things out of kindness.

I was stating the simple fact that the US is usually -the first- to give. So fuck off, idiot.

  • @thisismysnfosho Actually you are quite full of shit. I'm 1/2 American 1/2 Swedish and happen to have worked on three continents for BOTH US and European (EU) aid/poverty/disaster relief projects. Have also cooperate with governments of numerous other donor countries rich and not rich. I have never seen any measurable difference in terms of the motives, hidden agenda or lack thereof between US Gov and others. In both cases it is a mix of real solidarity AND other interests.

  • @thisismysnfosho (2) I'll give you an example. This very minute I', in the Dominican Republic hired by the EU Aid agencies to carry out an aid project here. The budget for my work here is described by the EU and "booked" as assistance for poverty relief + promotion of rule of law . These are part of the stats that Europeans rattle off when they brag about how generous and how much "aid" they "give" especially compared to the stingy Americans. Is it? (See pt 3)

  • I think this is a case of poor judgement. I've know lonely old men pay a pole dancer $500 just to sit and talk with them before. I guess this old guy had the same thing. He obviously thought she was worth it.

  • what a fucking asshole, i hope she is looked up forever... what an idiot! old people are fragile and should be taken care of (not exploited for all that they have)!!! aaarrrhhhh...

  • I 'exploit' people out of 20% of their bill every night. If the old man was giving his money away, whats the problem? She was at work to make money and make her customers feel welcome and thats what she did.

Locked up forever... give me a break.

  • i think elderly people r so cute and helpless. i don't like when people hurt them

  • Con artist. Jail time and throw the key away.

  • Although I think the waitress and her friends took advantage of this man....I think they are going to have a hard time making the charges stick against them. If the man is not legally mentally incompitent and wants to do charitable things for people by giving them cars and giving them money......where is the crime here? What probably happened is the future heirs (to his estate) got wind of this and were bullshit that all the money would be spent before he died & they could inherit it.
