@MrJerichoCross Dark matters do damage according to how many knot of rusts you used, if you used enough knot of rusts, a dark matter can break damage limit and doing around 60,000 damage.

If I play my cards right, I may be able to get two. One would definitely be used for the Zodiark fight. I'll try the bazaar and the Stillshrine chest. All my guys are level 65-66 and the monsters in the Henne Mines give me a load of trouble. I completely missed out on getting all the dark matter in Nabudis though.

If you have Diamond Armlet, you can farm Dark Matter at Tomb of Raithwall, the secret place where the Demonsbane resides. With your Diamond Armlet, the chest that contain Demonsbane will have Dark Matter now. Sorry for my english.

@hefhef54321 6 espers and go to jahara and talk to a guy there and he will open it for u.. i think its 6 espers not sure 100%

Hmmmm i'll rather get a shell shield from the chest in the stillshrine of mirriam. Those are a lot more rare then dark matters.

@MegaObey Yeah i know, but the shell shield is very rare and this is an easy way to get a second. Dark matters are not all that rare compared to the shield. I actually use them in certain challenges.

You get can 15~ Dark matter from Nechrol of Nabudis, the spot were you get the Zodiac Spear. Equip Diamon Armlet and open the chests.

If you read it closer, you need Order of Ambrosia Rank.

I'd like to ask a few questions: do u equip dark matter after getting it or do u just keep it so every attack will deal 60,000 damage? and where did u get the diamond armlet? i can't find it in the dalmasca estersands any where!

1) It's a useable item, Like a potion or a knot of rust,

2) you need to charge it up so when you use it, it will deal a single 60,000 damage attack. after that is used, then you have to charge it again.

It's really good to know how to get DM without DA equiped.

There are a few other Dark Matter chests if you have DA equiped too, but I guess you only included the ones without DA.
