I remember seeing Saint Jude play before the Black Spiders at Sonisphere this year and I was like, WTF, that's Marcus Bonfanti on guitar? Absolutely loved it.
First saw Marcus supporting Philip Sayce in Manchester late last year - absolutely blew me away. Great songs, great voice and jaw-droppingly good guitar playing. Great bloke too - stood chatting after his support slot and is a decent, down-to-earth bloke. Check out his albums and get out and see him live - words can't describe how good he is.
Seen him several times now supporting and playing with Sandi Thom..met him again on Saturday at the Jazz Cafe, and had a nice chat with him before the gig, and then after the gig..he is a nice, down to earth bloke...and his two albums are quality..buy them folks..and if you get the chance, go see him..he's at the Blues Kitchen on 25th November.
I seen Marcus @ Maggie Mays in Glasgow the other night and although I liked some Blues, this guy just me more of a fan of blues music, he's mega talented, really nice guy to speak to, heads not up his own arse, well done MB
what you on about? The Blues was being played 80 years before SS was even born, you can't say this guy has ripped off 1 person if other people have been playing the same music for a century before, you'd need to say he ripped them all off, which is ridiculous.
Marcus...Fantastic ! Love this tune, actually I love the whole album! Great vid..all the best with the launch. Hope you make it to Red Deer Alberta in 2010
awesome! =)

@fuzmuff123 He plays blues. That doesn't make him a rip off of Seasick Steve. All it means is... the both play blues.

Love the starkness of the video.... it perfectly matches the grittiness of the song. Wonderful stuff from a fantastic guy who deserves to be huge !

Mate, a brill vid, well done! And of course, as exceptional as ever. Nice one....having said that, no Jaffa Cakes featured...a disappointment.
