Potential is something that is only realised in Jesus Christ. Because He sees us how we can be and we see ourselves how we currently are or through our past failures.
Jesus knows what we can be when we live with Him. Potentail in Jesus is wonderful.
Atheists/Objectivists would do the same thing, but it's for personal motives. It could be money, it could be reputation, even ego, pressure to conform to what's 'right' in society. Or maybe even that people need to be in working order to contribute their best potential to society.
What they don't realise is that Jesus unlockes our best potentials ever :)
It really is about motives. When you're walking with God, you don't even feel like going back to your old ways anymore. Spreading the Word of God and similarly the want to help others stem from Him changing us. We work for God, because we're his children and it's our desire to glorify him, so he works through us, in our circumstances.
What about all the children who die from cancer and aids. What about the babies who are born with deformaties? Why does jesus let children suffer but he heals some woman's foot? what a load of bullshit
Jesus does not want anyone to suffer. Jesus would heal anyone who wants His help. We know people helping orphans in Thailand whos parents sold them into the sex trade. Others helping aids orphans in Africa A couple in Vietnam help kids with hair lips.
If Jesus was not real who would help these children, not their parents.
The lady whos foot was healed sure thanks God.
Parents commit sin and their children suffer. Hard to blame God for that.
If you turn to the god-loving priest he will tell you that he will help his fellow man because it is the will of god. If you speak to an Objectivist/Atheist doctor he will tell you that he can help his fellow man because it's scientifically useful to discard suffering.
EVERYONE who has FAITH should stay out of the hospitals. pray to your god and leave the medicine for people who believe in science.

A God loving priest will help as Jesus is in his heart. Jesus lives His love thru him. A real Christian is about others not himself.
All humanistic life styles are selfish first. They help others to so they benefit in some way.
Realistically the love of Jesus is unselfish & changes people for the better. Jesus is the ONLY WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
