I've just got this to work on my 2.2.1 iphone 3g.

Good tutorial EXCEPT i did NOT have to put in the LOCALHOST in my mail settings, the phone told me that "You have to have the MS PLUS acct" but then it started to work by itself..

SO GJ.. awesome .. it works now!!

You're not writing the last command right. You need to give a space between - and p. Remember to type it exactly as it is..

Everything works fine with me in the terminal. And it still doesnt work, after setting up mail account in settings it says "the connection to the server 'localhost' failed" i did everything right and installed everything... i got iphone 2G on firmware 2.2. Any suggestions on whats wrong?

the unable to blind issue is because in the last script in the terminal app he omited an space...

Hi, when i put in my account info. it writes "this mail service is not supported by the Ipod", so i still continued and when i put in incominingmail servier host name, it wont let me save cz there is noting writing in the outgoing mail service. So yeah what do i do????
