Yes its good, its a classic and it features those wonderfully cheeky little Mini Coopers (the proper ones, not the BMW imposters!), but overall I think the Bullitt chase is better. Bullitt is 100% high-octane, high-adrenalin, deadly serious pure car chase. There are too many little side scenes in the Italian Job chase that disrupt the flow of the action...

@TGRWorzel ... the Mini chase is all about cleverness, going where cars aren't supposed to go which adds to the comedy tones of the movie. Bullitt has speed and power which adds to the thrill in the thriller. Both are great in their own way and, incidentally, both were filmed by English directors.
