U2 Fans...this song was performed...because it's a great song taking from a project in between album...zooropa to Pop....experimental passengers 96...They gave a good effort the song is much better studio...U2 will try any new art form...they have that creative balance...if something don't float well with crowd they move on like this song.....great period in life...

Passengers did NOT exclude Larry Mullen. He didn't/doesn't like it as an album, Bono has accused him of just being angry because they didn't let him play drums. But he was there, contributing and playing his drums...just not as much as he'd have liked (which was Bono's point)

Yes, of course Passengers excluded Larry Mullen and added Brian Eno (who has pretty much contributed to every U2 album since The Unforgettable Fire), but their label wouldn't let them release that much of an experimental of an album without changing their name, so they called themselves 'Passengers.' Don't act like you know everything please.

I must admit I and other U2 fans from Europe feel cheated at this. This is such a beautiful song - why was it saved for America? In general Europe has been much more receptive to U2's alternative side, yet they tend to mix up the setlist and save gems like this for the quieter crowds of the States. They did it on the last tour and they're doing it again on this - whats up guys? I love ya (went to see them 4 times for 360) but this I don't understand

im soooo glad they didnt play new years day and still havent found because i heard those during the vertigo tour.

I can't say I feel cheated as such,because the three shows I saw in the UK were beyond awesome and it's kinda the luck of the draw, but I am disappointed too! I could definitely have done without Stuck In A Moment for instance in preference for Your Blue Room. I'm wildly hoping they come back to Europe and keep it in the setlist.

I agree with virtually everything you said. America has always loved the anthems-the flag being flashed from beneath Bono's jacket kinda gig- us Europeans have always loved the more eclectic, idiosyncratic, weird and visually wonderful 90s U2..and cherished the less commercial songs that crept through every album. But I have to say it, Europe got a pretty heartless, showy, indifferent performance. I know this is only one song but already I see Bono in America more relaxed, more intimate.

I am very reluctant to ever criticize U2, but I am not a fan of this song (sorry lads). Not when it replaces songs like SBS or BTBS, The Fly...or Pride. Just not feeling this is good concert song. Hope there's enough room in the world for a little criticism / feedback.

If I were there, I would be jubilant that it replaced SBS, BTBS, or Pride. Those song shave been played to absolute death, especially Pride. About The Fly though, I would like to see that in the setlist. That seems to be a bit of an overlooked U2 classic. Pride was a great song in its heyday, but I could certainly do without it for a while. I love Your Blue Room, but I dont think it should have led into Unknown Caller.

The reason that this song (Your blue room) may have replaced the songs you mentioned is because the songs you mentioned have ALWAYS been played by them on every show of every tour. Maybe the band want to play something THEY want to play for once :) besides they play all the people pleasers like Beautiful Day, Vertigo, With or Without you etc. anyway. I think they get the balance spot on.
