Wow this is incredible, A western man finally described the Buddhist terms for Nirvana and Samsara (The cycle of life and death) in simple English. Well done Mr Monroe, thank you wherever you are ;)
So in this life I finally go home as I am looking at all of the cracks and they bother me sooo much ... Now I understand why I am thinking so much and analyzing about where this world is going and I start to see that this whole life Doesn't Make Sense - because I want to go home ... Therefore I am an OLD soul (and that's what some old woman told me) - that's why people don't understand me because they haven't yet experienced this world in full and they are eager to ---> I understand - THank YOu
Obviously he is giving it in laymens terms so it should be taken with a pinch of salt, but are we to assume the "higher state being" ,that we are, has a personality? Is this personality different from our own?
i dont agree with what hes saying. we know how babies are made, through intercourse. is he trying to say a fetus is a blank until someone decides to come back and take over its body? sounds like a load of crock to me. that would mean his whole being is dependent on someone else having sexy time. where did he come from before sexy time?
This is so unbelievably amazing! He says all this so wonderfully and simply, what the Tibetan Buddhist have been saying for centuries ie "Tibetan Book of the Dead". I think there's just a slight flaw in his explanation and creates a misunderstanding in the audience. It's not that we have a conscious decision to come back to earthly existence consciously rather in this life time we have a habitual tendency to grasp on to things that validate our existence. When we die this grasping continues.
Interesting what Bob says about choosing to come back or go home.
I'm only 21 but I've had the desire to leave this place since I was a kid and I can't understand why. I used to ask about death all the time why I was only 6 and 7 years old, and what happens to us etc. I wasn't the usual kid and now I'm majorly researching stuff like this for some reason.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I can completely understand what he is saying. I too have always been fascinated with death and the metaphysical even since I was young. I drove my mother insane always asking why to everything. still do.
You sound alot like me. When I was 3 I told my mom "look, I can fly" and leaped down a stairwell, only to break a rib as I belly flopped on the steps. Im 24 now and, like you, I went on this paranormal research spree when I was 20. But yeah, you have been there. That's where we (our spirits) come from. You remember -on a subconscious level, therefor your more able to connect. If you never have astral traveled before, you should attempt it. It'll change your life! (Fear holds you back)
The idea of choosing to return for some pleasant reason (like going to Paris) sounds ok until you think about the indescribably suffering of so many people on this planet--like starving children in africa or women under islam. I like listening to him and I think he knows something but I suspect some of his notions may not hold up to prolonged examination. Time will tell (hopefully).
Well, to that exact example, I'd say "going to paris" (good) is equivalent to "suffering in Africa" (bad). Just because you see suffering as "bad" from your current point of view, that doesn't necessarily mean there isn't some valuable lesson to be learned, or higher understanding to be gained from the experience.
It was important, he talks about it in his books. I think that after he mentioned that we come here to learn things and plan on returning to where we came from, he was about to explain that many people get addicted to human life and return to Earth over and over. I wonder why they cut it out.
We have come here because we wanted to experience an existance where we could be Gods don't we all think that we are in control? We exist here until we learn to want God to be God 24/7. We reincarnate for 100,000,000's of livetimes according to our desires and to our karma. To go home we must purify our existance and Chant the holy names of the Lord:
Great video, I'm really interested in consciousness. It's really wonderful how Mr. Monroe explained everything here. Great. Really helpful video for me. I was looking for those words.
Through many of the best pieces of evidence for higher life than this physical...many of the communicating have stated that the earth life is but a school or training ground for higher vibrational being.
When I first listened to Robert Monroe I'ts like a light bulb turned on inside not just my head but also my spirit. I know God is using him so I can learn more about creation and how and why we were created by our creator. It also showed me that Man and his system of technology here on earth is the reason that the human race is suffering. To know this truth Robert Monroe speaks of brings true meaning to all things seen and unseen. Thank you Bob!
Impressive ,what a teacher ! I love Rob Monroe . I started out with book 1 back in the 70's and consider Far Journeys my bible.
I brought it as a holy book to my fathers death bed, seriously, actual its better then the bible. Its a great map that showing the actual terrain in the great beyound, the types of beings one might meet there, what to expect. I also like that the earth will be in great shape in 3000 yrs, greener ,advanced beings... less junk etc.
This man is a true pioneer. So humble, but such a huge intellect.I admire him immensely. He has been the mentor for so many on the road to spirituality.
I love this man :D
