I agree with both of you. I was born in Poland, live in New York and am learning how to speak German, but I love the Ireland and Irish culture. To add to that my boyfriend is a proud Irishman from Cork. It does not matter what nationality one is, if they have a passion for a country, one cannot take that away from them.

When we were oppressed and put down, this is how we remembered our green fields and brave woma, men and children: we sang.
We recorded our history through song. And in the end, we came out with pride and hearts of stength and courage.
