I haven't this one but i've had they're trippel and ranger ipa and both were dead solid for the styles esp the ipa, very tasty! Good review man cheers!
New Belgium makes some solid beer. I can't get them up in MI or home in OH; but I picked some up when I was in Indiana, and their Belgian style stuff is probably the best out of everything. I really liked their Dubbel and Grand Cru. I have a couple of the Sours in my cellar right now. I will definitely be getting more from the Lips of Faith series; especially the sours.
@superspak Yeah, but this one is kind of meh. Cool, I would love try their Sours, I hope I will find them. So far I have only seen Grand Cru and Prickly Saison. Cheers!
It's kind of a meh beer, but MUCH better than the BMC beers you find everywhere, I reviewed the Super Cru last night. It's Fat Tire on steroids, but way too sweet for my taste,
Been a very long time since I've had Fat Tire and I haven't had a whole lot of New Belgium in general, but some of their Lips of Faith series is great. Not crazy about the Prickly Pear Saison, though. While I haven't had it (have a bottle in the fridge), I've heard the La Folie is great if you can get it. Shame your beer selection out there isn't great. Pretty awesome just a little ways west here in AZ (as I'm sure you know, since you know Jamison/Tantrum777).
@paternzen Oh ok, I have heard good things about their Sour Ales though. Yeah it isn't the best selection, but they do have some good beers around here for sure. Yeah I know hehe. Cheers!
@RiffinNBrews Same here, New Belgium is one of the first breweries I started drinking. I don't think I've had one of their beers in over two years now, lol.
my least favorite of their beers.. but still good. If you ever get a chance to get to Ft Collins, definitely visit their brewery.. probably the best tour i've ever been on.
@bhyska Wasn't what I meant, I just meant you see it everywhere over here in bars :-P I had a really good IPA on tap from a local brewery, I just can't remember the name of it xD Cheers!
Dude you're starting from the bottom up, reviewing mediocre beers! Thats not like you man! You should review some of the available beers from firestone like their double barrel, double jack, velvet merlin and such. Maybe you need a beer mail or a few from your subscribers!
@bigpapykane This is the only mediocre beer I have reviewed so far :-P I just wanted to review some of the beers in the 12 pack now that i got it. I would love to review beers from Firestone Walker, but I can't get their beers here in Albuquerque, we don't have the best beer selection to be honest. Cheers!
It's ok. Kind of watered down, but maybe I've just been drinking too many Stones and Yetis recently, haha.

They make a lot of good gateway craft beers, especially for Belgian style beers. Some of their Lips of Faith beers are really solid though.
StumpyJoeJr 1 month ago
@StumpyJoeJr Yeah I agree, gateway beers for sure. Yeah I will try and see if I can find other than the ones I mentioned in the review. Cheers Ryan!

This is my dad's favorite beer. It was kind of a "gateway" beer for me, one of the ones that helped spark my interest in craft beer.

@RiffinNBrews Cool. Yeah I guess I would consider this a gateway beer too. Cheers!
