  • your videos always teach me so much that i find it hard to learn from other sources. thank you and keep up the good mork man.

  • Great and informative videos! Been watching them for a while. Wonder if I can download them and burn a DVD out of them to play on my big screen TV in my living room. Ready to buy this awesome PowerPack for Absynth 5. Thanks for sharing your great talent. Absenth 5 factory patches? Agreed, not from THIS world! And the Stylus RMX PowerPack will end up in my shopping basket as well! Thanks Skippy!

  • @psbmastering - thank you very much for the kind comment, PSB. You CAN download any YouTube video to your computer very easily. Search YouTube for a video called How to Download YouTube Videos with Safari that was created by DanWantsTech and you'll learn how to do it. Thank you (in advance) for your business.

  • @thepluginguru Oh, very cool! Thanks for the heads up on DanWants.... Definitely will do it! In a couple of hours I'll be digging your PowewrPacks! VERY cool evening ahead of me!!!!! :) Thanks bunch!

  • Absynth needs an arp in my opinion.

  • @Xtra999 - that would be nice.... not the first thing on my list but that would be fun to add to the mix.....

  • Great review Skippy. As always ,thorough and entertaining.I've got your Power Pack for Absynth. FAbulous. Especially love the BPM and sequenced stuff. Keep up the patch creation side of things. Where were your applause effects in the video? THey sounded funny in some of your previous ones:)

  • what can this do that reason cant ?

  • @BZdaKritta - kind of different worlds, BZ. This is a very powerful synthesizer that will work with many different sequencing programs on the PC and Mac. Reason is a closed system that combines synths with it's own sequencer. The synths are very nice that come with Reason, but they can't touch Absynth. So you have to pick which world you want to be in.... I don't work much with Reason because of it's limitations. Others love it's way of working and have created amazing music... get a demo of it.

  • I am in no way affiliated with John but please don't forget to hit the like button and a his facebook has some cool links and stuff too! :^\ facebook

  • Yet another fab vid John-some of the best on the web. I'm looking forward to purchasing this and other power pads! Thank you John for pimpen my DAW!

  • @MuzikAuto - the main reasons for these audio issues is that I'm playing a higher polyphonic patch with Logic Pro set to 128 for it's buffer size. When I am normally composing, buffer is fine at 256 or 512 but because I'm talking into a mic with headphones on, the delay is a pain if the buffer size is too large.... I'll probably update this computer next year so I hope it can hang on a little while longer !!

  • @MuzikAuto I think Absynth has the tendency to be more CPU intensive for some reason. I just installed Absynth 4 on my laptop today and I'm getting clicks and glitches as well. It's strange because I haven't really run into this problem with any other VST.

  • @Vondur - if you turn on the higher resolution oscillators, add cloud to each oscillator and then try to play chords, it will cost you CPU cycles - however, for the sounds Absynth makes, I think it's totally worth it. It's not THAT hungry.....

  • Fenomenal inspiring video..! Again... Thank you John

  • @sokoleski - my pleasure, sokoleski! Glad you're inspired. That's what it's all about for me.....

  • Also, would this power pack work on Absynth4?

  • @Vondur - Only works with Absynth 5. There are SO many new tools (Aetherizer and Cloud to name a few) are only Absynth 5. Totally worth the update!!

  • Aswesome video. I really like Pulsation Nirvana. Native Instruments should consider hiring you on to program presets. Their synths presets always lack the typical bread and butter sounds that people would most often want to use. I'll be looking forward to your upcoming Absynth tutorials.

  • @Vondur - thank you V. I did work with N.I. on patches for Absynth 2 but they have not hired me back but we're in contact :D

  • @thepluginguru NI needs to reconsider the way they market their synths. The pre-sets on on most of their products, (particularly Absynth) are so impractical. Videos like this show how powerful nice synths can be in the right hands.

  • You have good souds!

  • @brain96969 - :D :D :D :D
