been a big fan of johns for a long time even have a signed copy of his first solo cd from the 80s. i still use an older 150 cd changer from the early 90s, i put it on random pla and within fifteen mins. it plays trak 4 off his cd and everyone goes who is that, then when u tell them his name most say never heard of him!! funny thing is they been hearing him for yrs. just never knew it was him! i think the time is perfect for modern melodic metal to rear its preaty head again!!

Norum is greater than Jeff Beck, Eric Placton, Santana, Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Ace Frehly, Steve Lukather, etc...NO DOUBT !

You're only one guitarist who made me unintentionally jump up from the chair while I listening and only one who made me feel shivered just like I listened to piano played by the greatest pianist Horowitz.
