I was wondering if anybody has ever read the book "The pH Miracle". I was a little confused when I read this book because it pretty much says not to eat most fruits with the exception of only 3. The book goes on to say that most fruits make your body acidic and that your diet should consist mostly of raw vegetables. Can somebody with some knowledge on this please comment? Thank you.
Hi b0ondockz, I haven't read the book you're talking about (The pH Miracle), but my opinion is
1 - a ripe fruit cannot harm the body except if it's poisonous
2 -scientists tend to focus on one aspect of things, while there are always plenty of things that interact.
3 - Do you know healthy persons? what do they do? can this work for you? that's my approach. My mother is super healthy, thin and young looking, she's a vegetarian and eats 75% raw. She's never ill.
Oh, forgot to say this is by far THE best explanation for going raw. This is the video that should be first for anyone to view. I think you are so right on the mark what you said at 2:39 too.

I'm with you on simplicity but cutting broccoli and perhaps climbing a tree to grab the ripe fruit makes broccoli the winner? Another thing about chewing on greens like broccoli is that they help clean your teeth.
YOu are right in alot of respect except for the fact that yield on an apple orchard is 2 to 10 tons per year Broccoli does not come even close as wellas the fact picking fruit is easy I use to work in both orange and apple orchards as well as pick broccoli Big difference in yield big difference as far as work In any case have fun in the sun in whatever you choose Arnold

My thoughts on food combining I beleive in it if you are desparetley ill and not getting the results for healing that you want I eat mostly fruit so I really dont worry about it If I eat nuts which takes 6 hours to digest in whole form or a lot of dehydrated food my energy level dips Such is life I enjoy the food but make a conscious decision to be aware of what I eat the next time Have fun in the sun Arnold
Maybe you feel good because there is alot of sugar in fruit,SPECIALY when you blend ,you break down all the fiber and wamo blood sugar rises Not sure if that is cool? Some peeps dont think so..

Greens are the FOUNDATION of the healthy vegan raw food diet. That is the Piece of info that Classic Natural Hygiene teachings missed. NH of the 50s 60s 70s etc all taught vegan raw food, but rarely talked about Greens. They missed a huge piece of Puzzle. Fill in the rest with Fats and Fruits, but not overdoing either and ull be just fine
Before D.wolfe there was TC FRY from TX, who was the Most Popular and successful raw food teacher of the 1980s. TC taught all his students and health seekers that Greens were totally unecessary and Not Nearly as Essential as Fruits. TC would gorge on huge amts of sweet fruit with tiny amounts of greens. When He died he lost ALL his teeth from decay erosion, he was literally toothless from fruits !
..garlic is very yummy, to my tummy anyways, and it is EXTREMELY good for you. I will carry on eating garlic AND ginger, both great, thinly sliced or grated in salads. :-)
