@Arborverden Ozone is incredibly bad for the lungs and can kill you in VERY small concentrations. I don't think the woman was correct in saying it was ozone (O3), I think it just had oxygen.

It sort of depends where you live hon. It can cost anywhere from 40 to 150 or so dollars. US, that is. It's probably best to ask around your area in some salons to see what the average price is.

An extraction removes blackheads from pores so the skin has a smoother look and feel. Blackheads can also 'stretch out' a pore almost like a stretched out rubber band and make the skin look less smooth, so it's good to get blackheads extracted by a professional.

It usually works better when the steam is left on for a few minutes then you start to exfoliate.... the steam softens the pores so it's easier to work deep in them :)
