the local peoples are a part of a ecosystem of the sundarban.they kill the tigers and tigers kill them.but the fact is,this is not the responsible for decreasing of tiger population.the modern reason is illegal poacher.but the main reason was western people,especially British.when they came to the subcontinent,they came with gun.they killed thousands of tiger without any reason but for fun and to show the local about their power..mighty powerful British white....but for me they are asshole.....

Animal rights activists and vegans are detached from reality. Best thing to protect an endanger species would be to built a high wall around their habitat or several hundreds or thousands of acres to prevent them from attacking nearby villages.
