Ya, I can see how that crash was the heli's fault. Great copter, you just need to pay attention and learn slow. For the price, great choice, it won't hurt as much to crash this one over a 600$ Trex. Parts are cheap, just two weeks away....
Idle up is evil. Got my CP V2 today, while setting up and doing blade tracking accidentally clicked the button. Aleardy had to buy a replacement part, waiting on the replacement main gear to ship...
this is what really happened: i turned on the 3D button by mistake. this button will self-destroy your heli.
Guitar, i fixed mine and now I am waiting for spring. actually it;s easy to fix it. you just need patience. dont buy expensive tools. if you need help, let me know.
i have to tell you the truth: i dont know. but i know it doesnt do any harm if you turn it on. the 3D button should be labeled "danger". but i guess they want you to crash your heli so you can buy parts / or new heli! i am going to buy rc flight sim. i have two Belt CPs. I will sell one on ebay for parts (even thou) it's is complete and running fine). good luck
plastic material is really weak compared to TREX, dont bother with belt CP even for loearning, I own one and regret purchasing it, i spend so much on part and didn't really enjoy it yet, very frustrating
If you really want to know about weak plastic materials in RC-Helicopters, you should find out about the Kalt Whisper that was launched in the early 1990's.
i want to buy that helicopter too i fly for i think 4 years now but a fixed pitch starts to get boring and my honey bee fp got almost no lifting power.
but i dont think that i'm gonna to fly 3D.
but why is it bad for 3d flying becouse i think i put alu upgrades on it hopefully the parts hold it then.
yes Honey Bee King 2 is more agile but belt cp is bigger and has more weight so is more stable for outdoor flight specially with wind. both honeybeek2 and beltcp are good depends of what you want to do... indoor ou outdoor flight=)

Hehe xD I have orded one simulator to day! I bought one for 40 USD.
It's cold "Dynam USB 6CH simulator " and whit a program "FMS".
I'm gonna boy a new ESC. Beacause the ESC which is whit the Belt cp is 25A, and is very easy to burn up, i'm gonna buy one whit 40A:-D
Good luck. I had a lama before, so i'm not a noob nobb, just a little noob xD
guitarheronorway 3 years ago
The 3D switch is used to change the flight mode so the throttle stick only controls blade pitch. This allows you to do stunt flying and the such.

yes to fly 3D
I wouldn't fly without idle up (the button)

the parts are so poor quality, broke in flight for exemple, if you want to fly in 3D, a Trex 450 SE or V2 will be the best choice.

what do you mean so poor

is the belt cp a good helicopter
cat123456789101 3 years ago
So BAD for 3D flying, even for normal flying,
yohoneybee 3 years ago
i´m sorry for the crash :( this helicopter is good ? ....I wanna buy one ...
razva125 3 years ago
buy Trex 450 SA or SE or SE V2, but not a Belt cp.
yohoneybee 3 years ago
why not
cat123456789101 3 years ago
is this one a small helicopter coz i mite get one soon i have got a big helicopter but i want a smaller one
1234mattyman 3 years ago
petit conseil, prend une Trex 450 SA ou XL, franchement largement meilleur et plus fiable que ce belt cp...
Le HL oui ça aide. Surtout avec un GY401
yohoneybee 4 years ago
how easy are these to fly?
thanks
zam
zam640 4 years ago
start with Lama V2-V3...Belt cp is an heli with tail rotor and it's very difficult to fly heli with tail rotor...
yohoneybee 4 years ago
well i have masterd my lama v3 and im thingking of moving up
zam640 4 years ago
i suggest getting on a simulator.
ice9fetus81 3 years ago
hey dude better get someone who teaches you wite an engine heli and after that estar to fly electriks =)
tommydulbecco 3 years ago
how comes? are electric ones harder to fly or is it because there smaller and get affected by the wind more easy?

yes depends of what you wnat to do, but if you want to fly in 3D, esky is very bad choice....the parts of the belt cp are so poor and fragile

that crash sure did suck i rekon u should get a raptor ur pretty good

What problem do you get trying to do 3D with a belt CP ?
robertlam18 4 years ago
the parts of this heli" broke in flying! this heli is good for hovering and translation but for 3D it's an very bad heli.
i am buying the Trex 450 SE with HDX super frame. It's better for 3D and hard 3D
yohoneybee 4 years ago
Do not blame yourself too much , is the wind to cause hardly control the heli.
Your flying skill is good enough.
