What if the hammer throw analogy is wrong to golf? Everything you're teaching seems to be based on it being apt. What if golf is more like baseball, or throwing a discus? I think it is, and you're not "turning toward the club," but the club is being propelled through by a rotating trunk. This is cool thinking, and I might try it if I stunk, but its just a theory that is untested. Maybe if this Ayers guy could make a cut in a nationwide tour event or something I'd give it a second look.
hey martin, I am completely intrigued by the method your teaching; love a golf swing that has lots of leverage and snap through it. Some of the drills however are a bit blurry to me, it looks like its more of a feel than an actual mechanical take. Is there anything you do for swing lessons online i.e emailing swing videos?? Id appreciate that. Also, when you were at the Canadian Open with Elk, did you go to Niagara on the lake with him?? I saw him their (my home course)! Thanks very much
Thanks for making the golf swing such a simple and repeatable process.Like The Most Powerful Move in Golf.It is much easier to think about cross referencing abstract and concrete thoughts while twisting my body into unnatural positions. You also need to learn how to clearly finish a point on your $30.00 video which you wont answer any questions about. All those unorganized thoughts.Oh well all that matters is how much money you got from people from a pack of nonsense mixed with jubbled thoughts
you are illustrating exactly what I read from Joe Dante's Four Magic Moves. Surprised to see people comment that this is outside of the box thinking.
You are pushing the hips out as far as possible and holding the head back, counterbalancing and hitting through the shot. This will make for the best contact and if hands are in the right position, great lag. Thanks for sharing!
