There seems to be a lot of debate about whether or not the older stuff was better than the newer stuff. I, personally like a lot of their albums as a whole, but find that even on their albums that didn't gel overall that there are moments of brilliance, as there are weak moments on their better works. Great band overall.
My fave TITD albums in order: 1 - In The Eyes of God, 2 - Temple Of The Morning Star, 3 - TITD, 4 - Axis of Eden, 5 - Kiss The Pig, 6 - Supernova, 7 - Willpower, 8 - Sadness
I only got TITD's amp rep stuff recently. It's really good stuff. Reminds me of Steve Albini music a bit. It's quite interesting how they became more of a metal band later on though. I like all of it though.
In the Eyes of God is probably the best. or Sadness.
hands down, no contest, zero room for debate: the original line up was easily the most lethal, innovative assemblages of talent ever. they were absolutely peerless, and they killed it live. "willpower" might be one of the most criminally over-looked releases, and it it's made even more painful by the fact what TITD is doing these sucks. i mean it: the shit they're doing is utterly sad, and their hard fall from grace started with the break-up of the original trio. i weep for these days.......
hey it's cool to hear from people who remember and appreciate the original lineup of t.i.t.d. it's been so long for me since i was in the band and don't really have any footage from those days.good to see it on here and hear from people about it. would love to see and hear more.i'm sure steve has lots of stuff but we really don't talk anymore.anyways....thanks..............mike herrell
This song sucks. TITD is so hit and miss... When it works its amazing (i.e everything on Kiss The Pig, Eyes Of God)Supernova...eeeh. Kinda poo. But Steve Austin is the man anyway...
This is the best they've sounded. I think it was all kind of over after the third record. Ok so you like their simplistic metal stuff. There's lots of riffy metal bands out there, but there was only one band that sounded like Today Is The Day's first two records (and the previous 7"s). I just wish I could find a live video for
me too.....that was probably my favorite song i ever wrote in the band........it's so cool to see people on here who remember and like the stuff i was involved in...steve probably has all kinds of archives but we really don't talk.anyways, thanks for the cool comments.....it's funny to see the separation in the fans between our old stuff and his new stuff.............mike herrell

I agree with dipshit, you can't be a fanboy and just eat up every release. The first two albums they released were completely vital. complete gold.

Greatest band. In their early days already the greatest.

This is a great song. Supernova came out in 1994 and was way more groundbreaking than the nu metal shit Korn unleashed with their crap s/t album

I'm typically more of a "metal guy" but TOTD's amp rep albums are fare superior to their relapse stuff...
