  • I don'y carry a wallet..I don't reach for a wallet..I might go for this gadget in future..but I have not upgraded my W810i mob for long.

  • WHATS GUCCI MAH NIGGAH?!

  • I have that on my galaxy nexus! LTE version. I used it once, and that one time was incredible.

  • i thought you need a pin for a credit to even make a payment?

  • @GregoryMoncayo Nope....that's debit

  • What I like about this is that you don't necessarily need to use your credit/debit card for this. There is an option to load a virtual Google Pre-Paid card (I hope they issue a tangible smart card as well...) for $20 and use it for small purchases like these.

  • Although Google is advancing rapidly in technology, but seriously would most folks use their credit card to purchase a bottle of drink. It seems Google is encouraging people to use their credit/debit cards for small things. Best stick to loose change in your pocket to be safe

  • @AtaArticles I think it can be used with a debit Citi bank card too.

  • @AtaArticles I use my credit card for every single purchase I make because I get rewards points. I have already paid for a return flight from europe with them. VERY worth it!

  • @AtaArticles i use my cards for everything. safer than cash. if i lose cash i'm screwed...if i lose my cards...they're replaceable.

  • Google could become skynet

  • google wallet need internet to pay?

  • With our moneto mobile wallet , you are not tied to one network or one specific phone, so visit our website to learn more: moneto.me

  • $1 for a coke?!

  • I think 4 Pin code is not enough :P

I think it needs voice activation too lol

  • Secure enough for ur debit card.. retards :/

  • where are the ads? how does google benefit from it

  • @ednan9 they get around 2-3% of each purchase made by google wallet.

  • This app is good for thiefs, and bad for us. :$

  • @1994nieves So if someone steals your wallet or purse? their is no way a thief could use it? In many ways this is more secure than cards, and or cash.

  • why not just have a passive RFID tags on your phone. Just walk and pass by and everything will be paid.

  • @Civsuccess2 you need to be 1 -4 cm away from the receiver, and your screen has to be on, then you have to type in the code.

  • I don’t understand all the pushback from this product. People complain about security but what is the difference? You lose the wallet some takes your card and slides it; you lose your phone at least someone will have to enter a pin, maybe even a finger print. Also as soon as you realize your phones missing go to your Google account and deactivate the account. Easier than finding all the numbers, calling, and then canceling the cards.

  • Love it!

  • BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!

  • ban this issh asap!

  • All in the name of convenience. I like that you have the option to enable or disable the PIN option.

  • Yet another way to make us oblivious to spending money we don't have

  • This application only running in nexus s as Google brand

  • this's what happen when u run out of paper money :)

  • is this a way for the goverment to track your payments and what your spending on , maybe it is just another way to get rid of hard currency ? , if they keep track of what your spending on they can control you , for example if the more people buy coke instead of pepsi the price of cola will go up .

  • @moeysabbaghbro That's the most insane theory I have ever heard. The government is not as almighty as you may think.

  • You reeeeaaaallyyyy have to be careful with your phone now.. i prefer debit card and/or cash

  • The end of them in power is the end of our faith in their credit as far as me the world lost all credit when it crucified jesus the christ now all credit belongs to him. I know all that live in false pride have no true life within themselfs and no matter what men think my lord will and does rule. HIM and his love are with me and the gates of hell shall not prevail against me

  • @stellarblur

    amen

  • Making the way for 666...

Revelation 13:16-18 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

  • Coke is NOT healthy. Stop drinking it!

  • @knezs ow wow

  • To me I feel the security is realy low.

Only a pin code to secure? No chips recognition?

I need to know more about this issue before daring to use that tool if it pos up into the market.

  • @Domiceco Security is a big concern for them. There are layers of security built in. I don't pretend to understand all of it, but for example the NFC chip is the only part of the hardware that stores your financial data, and it cannot be accessed by outsiders while it is not in use (locked). Also if you try to open the phone and access the NFC chip, it breaks itself to protect your data. There's software security too but I'm not sure exactly how that works.

  • @Domiceco the chip is in the phone.

  • @Domiceco

ok, so what other security options does your credit card offer???

  • @Domiceco you sound like you're from Europe, the land of SmartChips in credit cards.

  • @Domiceco Turn the pin on every time you make a payment and its as secure as your debit card. If you think this is not secure you are probably walking around with a credit card that has a nfc chip in it that has no security.

  • @Domiceco Turn the pin on every time you make a payment and its as secure as your debit card. If you think this is not secure you are probably walking around with a credit card that has a nfc chip in it that has no security.

  • @Domiceco this only works with small items like a coke as an example.

if you bought something at a store you would have to type your signature with a pen too.

And the pin code can be more than 4 numbers if you want to. it can even be letters. just like a credit card.

  • @Domiceco What are you fucking talking about? There's places where you can just use your debit card and that's it, no pin number. I could go to taco bell with your debit card and use it to buy food. I couldn't do that with your phone.

  • @Domiceco The fact that it has a pin makes it more secure than a normal wallet.

  • @Domiceco pass to unlcok phone..pin to unlock virtual credit card..it's harder to hack then a credit or debit card.

  • Very great!

  • Wow! We're all in Google's hands!!! :o)

  • So if the battery die....... your money die too????? f**k you google

  • @miguel550 XD

  • @miguel550 learn to speak english buddy

  • @miguel550 its called not relying on technology...pull out your REAL wallet lol.

  • @miguel550

Don't bring a wallet, bring a battery. LOL

  • @miguel550 The ultimate goal is so an RFID tattoo called SOMARK can be read with everywhere. Google will be able to know where you are and what you are buying 24/7.

  • @miguel550 they made an app. and you expect them to make the phone never die with it? lol rethink your comment you stupid fuck

  • @miguel550 lol no

  • @miguel550 hmm? charge your phone when you sleep...problem solved.

no one said you cannot carry a credit card with you either.

  • What happen if you don't have an NFC phone like the Nexus can you still use the app.

  • @lrobles787 if you don't have the hardware, how could you possibly use the software? It's like you ask if your software can use an i5 processor but you don't have one on your PC.

  • @lrobles787 not yet. but i heard their gonna design it for other smartphones later, like iphone, droid and maybe blackberry

  • Firefox 3.6 truncates the video title in the active tab. Mine reads "YouTube - Google Wallet Demons..." o.O

  • @choochoosmexy depends on your resolution

  • Can I have the chip in my hand or forehead instead?

  • My only concern would be not having self-control and spending too much money. it makes it so easy :)

  • he bought a Coke with his phone yall....he bought a Coke with his phone

  • Google is everywhere, soon you can't do anything without using a Google product. I don't like this, to much power for one company. Even this I'm typing on a site owned by Google. Don't like the idea of Google having a detailed list of all my expenses, this is crazy!

  • It's like the suica card from japan

  • google is getting too big

  • @millenium2003 thats good

  • These comments remember me about the ones made concerning leaving your money in banks...

  • The next step is RFID chips...

  • @Elite1987 NFC is a form of RFID. In the future storing identification in your Google wallet might happen.

  • 5th

    this is awesome!

  • This one concerns me greatly in terms of financial security. Don't tie all your services to one device. It's like only having one key for everything you own. Plus, Google admits that this system is "VERY contextually aware". Meaning, they admittedly track you and your spending patterns and habits. BAD idea. And the worse part is all the sheeple will fall for it. Sony's PSN network problems are nothing to the coming thefts of people's entire financial ability.

  • @VideoGuyNC People seem to give up privacy and security for convenience, one day they'll wish they hadn't.

  • @Elite1987 Completely agree! Just because we "can" doesn't mean we should. But, people flock to the newest, greatest thing/trend - and then b!tch when they are had by the system. I don't want any one company having this much imput in my financial transactions.

  • mean while in japan

"ooohh, now you engrish people use mobile wallet? Where you been!?"

  • @Demingosan WTF?!

  • 1111

  • LOL 1 st
