The dog is not trying to hurt the kitten at all. Dogs and cats behave differently, they are both little. If the cat didnt like it, it would have shown it, cats arent helpless, my cat plays with our shephard all the time, but when she gets to rough. Our cat puts our dog in her place. Dogs also have a sense in their mouths that they use to control pressure, they both know what they are doing. Its cute.

These 2 have bonded. They are litter mates now. And the cat just loves it. I have friends that raised kittens & puppies together. One even raised a puppy with 2 adult cats and 1 of them was exactly like this with the dog. Makes me feel happy, seeing this. Thanks for posting.
