  • OMG, i must cry.... the lyrics are very sad....and Robert too....

  • where you there monica? yes he was.

  • crying??, i dont think so...

  • I took my wife to this show. I had seen The Cure several times before but my wife had never seen them live. She has been to many concerts but even she says that this was the best show she had ever been to just because of the fact that The Cure sound so damn good live.

  • I WAS NEXT TO THE GUY WITH THE CAMERA!!!

  • I love when lyrics change. It means hes connecting emotionally with his music. As he grows, his lyrics grow.

  • Anda que decir que está llorando... son las ganas de algunos.

  • becuase faith is as a forest a song which is ending all live

    only the music is important

    lyrics come after

  • Why isnt he singing the real lyrics

  • Do you know what are extended lyrics ? ...

  • After being a fan for 20 years I finally got a chance to see them live in my hometown. The experience was to say the least pleasantly surreal. Definately one of the best 3 1/2 hours in my life well spent!

  • Eh! Robert es hermoso! Cómo puede alguien criticarlo por gordo y feo? Yo le pego al que dijo eso!

Ow! Nunca había visto llorar a Robert

  • i hope this is released on dvd as charlotte was recorded wasnt it.

  • yep and right after the tour was over robert posted on the website that he was working on a dvd of charlotte, paris, and one of the new york shows

  • ROBERT IS HOT. PERIOD.

But this is not about RSX's looks; it's about the INESCAPABLE BRILLIANCE OF THE CURE.

  • AMEN!

  • This is just.... TOO GOOD. Thank you very much for posting this one out. Great sound and image quality.

  • Don't worry about it caterpillargirl..it doesn't matter..we love they and thats the point..and this song is f***ing great, i've heard it million times before but i'm just can't have enough of it..never..in music, nothing left but cure..

  • Ha ha... I like that last line- nothing left but Cure. That's clever! By the way, are you a big fan of Simon Gallup's band before he joined The Cure?

  • I will remember this night I will never understand (4x) I will never understand How this night... I will say to you (can't make out) I will say to you (can't make out) I will say to you there's nothing left but (something) and a happy crowd. One day I will take(something) It's not me (8x) There's nothing left in life There's nothing left but friends There's nothing left but (something) There's nothing left but hope There's nothing left but there you are(?)
  • Nothing Left

    Nothing left but friends....

(sorry I had to do this in two posts because I was over the stupid character count.)

  • Truly haunting and amazing.

  • I'm so sick of the "Robert's fat and old" comments. They are useles.. The man is not fat! For f*cks sake, he's 49 and absolutely wonderful to see live in concert. He can belt out some tunes, old and new, with emotion and conviction that makes me admire every bit of work he's ever done.

I hate Cure critics who judge appearance instead of talent and a motive to put on the best show ever. Fat is totally not a valid issue here, and it's not true to begin with.

    Find a better argument.

  • thanks so much for your post...i agree totally..i get so sick of people criticizing him this way...you couldnt have said it any better!! I go to NYC tonight to see them!!!! woooo!!!!

  • takerele - you said it just as good! I think Robert sounds exactly the same and he sounds amazing!

  • just got home from the 3 1/2 hr show at MSG in NYC... unreal show

  • it must be a bit freaky/tiresome to be playing this stuff over and again....i love it but its kind of like the albatross!!

robert smith must have some sudden jolts from his slumber.

  • amazing... and it hits the soul..always

  • Sweet sweet. So sweet. Love you Robert.

  • I heard that too!

  • ?!?!?!?!?! Firstly for being in our eyes for all but 30 YEARS.....ROBERT LOOKS FUCKING AMAZING FOR REACHING HIS 50TH FUCKING YEAR ON THIS EARTH...AND HAS BLESSED THIS WORLD WITH HIS MAGIC....You shouldnt be feeling any sorrow...you should be rejoicing...doesnt sound like Robert??? Which one have you been listening to??? It sure as hell sounds like the one I know...hate to get defensive but I think he looks more amazing and sounds more amazing than ever....

  • He is beautiful.

  • És um grande ESTÚPIDO. Almond, deves ser balofo... com esse nome, só pode. Se eu sei inglês tu deves compreender português. Ou és ignorante, para além de estúpido?

  • You're an idiot. The man has aged 30 years since he started The Cure. Go wrangle up a bunch of 49 year old men and compare them to Robert.

I just saw him last night. Front row. He's not fat in the slightest. He's always had a short neck... I think this is what contributes to the feeling that he's fat. He WAS fat for a while, but he's lost at least 70 pounds or so. He's not even chubby anymore. He's not thin though... which is good.

Besides, what if he was fat? So what?!

    Ugh.

  • ='c

  • crying??? oh no....i wanna hug him soo badly....i wonder why??? after the radio city show on saturday i am gonna cry!!!!!

  • This was an amazing performance. There was something different about this show from the first note. I feel lucky to have been a part of it. Its power from decades of inspired musical performance was encapsulated in this fantastic, moving show...

  • The Faith encore made me weep like a baby.

  • Thank You !!!!!!

  • I can't stop watching this! Thanks so much for uploading.

  • I know! I think I've watched it a dozen times today. He starts out by singing "I will remember this night...." Do you think the night REALLY was as wonderful for him as it was the fans??? Gawd - take me back in time just 48 hours ago!!!!

  • me too!!!

  • PS..

Thanks for putting this up, dancexdigital. :-)

  • Oh yeah.. it sounded like at the end to me he said "There is nothing left, not faith, only friends". But maybe I heard it wrong? :-P

  • I used my headphones and I heard "friends" too.

  • Cool, so I wasn't hearing things after all. ;-)

  • Oh yeah!!! I was there, the band was awesome!! This was a fabulous version of Faith! One Hundred Years was really great too! Oh, and Freak Show sounded really really good, I love it live.. all of it was great, I had a wonderful time!! :-)

  • fucking great!

    thanx for uploading it...

'THERE IS NOTHING LEFT (not even FAiTH) ...'

  • Thank you SO SO much for taking this and sharing it here!!

  • AHHHHHH!!!! THANK YOU!

  • Amazing Faith! Love Robert rocking after 3 minutes

  • what lyrics was he mixing into this song?
