  • hey my english is great, but thanks for the help. in portuguese, the r is pronounced as h.

  • @RenataGuthery im from brasil and the r only sounds like a h in the beggining of a sentence, but in the middle of a sentence it sounds like wat she is talking about.

  • Meg - I stumbled upon your site while tutoring two great young men (one from S. Korea, the other from Japan) - and I have to tell you, it's wonderful. I had just said to them that they needed to do some kind of "tongue exercises" and before I knew it ... there you were. I hope you develop your talent - my guess is that you're a speech pathologist (or something along those lines). Thanks for your good work.

  • Thank you very much for these exercises; they were extremely helpful. I just realized how stiff my tongue is, no wonder I sound funny when I say certain words. My most challenging word is TURTLE.
