SSA V2 Headers, MBRP Cat Back exhaust, & Injen CAI intake. MBRP doesn't make the exhaust anymore and SSA V2 style headers can be found on eBay between 120-200 bucks. The Injen CAI is model RD1375P.
Sounds like you need a tune up man. On a loaded DynoJet I made 179 whp and 175 lbs.ft torque to the wheels w/o a tune. My mods are I H E on a 04 SE 6spd.
@NAUIdragster001 Easy. The 2.7 Delta aside from being corked up from the factory, has NO variable valve timing, NO variable length intakes, NO direct injection. It's basically old school technology. My IHE mods help push output form 172 bhp to 210 bhp (179whp + 15% drivetrain loss).

Putting exhaust on a 2.7 kills the torque really bad,unless you have cams,tune,superchager,turbo,or a combo of.I know,when I put true duals o mine,yes,TRUEDUALS,it killed my low end really bad untill I just recently put in stage 1 cams and tune,and now runs great,and sounds really bad ass.You have to take into consideration the loss in the drivetrain,I was only putting at the wheels 151hp,and 163 trq before cams tune,now,189hp,196 trq.
Well thanks for the info my g/f owns this car and wants tuned dual exhaust obviously a waste of money if you go no further in terms of mods. Very nice cars to cruise in thou but when it comes to power i love my z32 pushing 450HP 397TRQ
If your 300zx was pushing 450hp, there would be no way in hell you would have asked that question above like an ignoramus. Mine put 404 to the wheels with a decent parts list and an amazing tune, there is no way you have that and dont understand the difference's between flywheel hp, WHP, and how to figure driveline loss...

I hate to think about it but my Yamaha R1 has more HP at the crank (stock 180) and that's more than my Tiburon. Still love both of them though.

This was power at the wheels, not at the crank.Also,all 2.7s reagrdless are rated at 172 hp and 188 trq at the crank,so do the math sir.

2003/2004 have 170 and all years above are rated at 172 because of updraged exhast system.

come with 170 and they should put between 145-155 hp to the wheels stock

It may be a V-6..But it's only a 2.7L. :(
I can't for the life of me..think why Hyundai thought it would be cool to do a 2.7L when some 4-cyl go up to 2.4L!
In any case, I enjoy my 2.7L of FURY!

there are 4 cylinder engine which are 3.0L
stock 6spd v6 dynos 150-155whp
stock auto v6 dynos 140whp
I/E/H on 6spd is usualy around 175whp ... when tuned 180whp

you have to account for drive train loss. the 172 hp AND 181 torque is rated at the crank not the tires
