I've never understood all the Sam hating. It isn't like Greg was replaced against his will. He was ill and could no longer perform. Sam was chosen as his replacement. Would it have been better to just end The Wiggles?
In my opinion I think Sam is a better singer than Greg. Greg has a great voice but I'd rather hear Sam sing. My 16 month old son likes to watch the wiggles but if Greg is the one singing he will start crying and turn off the tv.

i never been to a wiggles concert since my older brother's family's kids brought every sickness to both households i was the last one to catch their viruses from their kids there maybe i will be able to take nephew billy and jimmy to see their concert real soon when they come back to germain arena in estero fl. i haven't seen any of them perform in concert yet with my two nephews here in north naples fl its time to stop the child like behavior grow up please sam is doing his best here.

Greg has stated several times that his heart, and all his other major organs, function perfectly. His health is great now & he is performing again (solo shows) and has a very full public life.
@Madiigo Orthostatic Intolerance IS NOT life threatening & can be treated with medication & management. Greg has turned his health around & said in a Sept 2009 tv interview that he is feeling great now. He has returned to performing via solo shows. He is also involved with fundraising for medical research & many charities. He plays in celebrity cricket matches as one way to raise money & frequently donates his fee or will play free for worthy causes.

Greg's charisma, stage presence & warm natural voice that lent itself beautifully to The Wiggles' songs make him in my opinion irreplaceable.

Stop bashing the poor guy, he is doing a GREAT job. By the way Greg was not heavily relied on for song writing. The main song writers of Wiggles songs are Paul Fields (Anthony Fields blue Wiggle's brother) and Anthony himself. Greg like Sam are singers who interpret those songs.

Sam is awesome! He is a very talented singer and he is a great stage performer. Having said that, so was Greg. We all have preferences and opinions and that doesnt make one of them better than the other. Think of it this way...Lucky there was someone like Sam ready to step in or todays generation of kids (like my little one) would not have the Wiggles to watch at all! Well done to both of them for their contributions to what is the greatest kids musical group in Australia :D
I have been a fan of the wiggles since the tv show started. Greg was definitely a strong presence in the band. But you know every good band has a "voice". Greg was it. I like the other guys as well. They should have at least found someone with his charisma and nature. No offence to Sam.
Sam had some big shoes to fill, my daughter has only known Sam as the yellow wiggle, we have seen them live three times and they don't disappoint, they are all fantastic :)))

Say what you will, but kids love these guys, my daughter made me a believer... and Sam is a fantastic singer. Remember that Greg hand picked Sam to replace him. When you are the world's #1 Kid's music act in the world, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Love & miss Greg but fear not.. he is for sure giving wonderful advise & input to the group. Sam is doing a SUPERB job as the group lead singer now!. The colorful 5 (Greg, Anthony, Murray, Jeff & Sam) are a fine group of young lads!!
Sam is doing a great job though. He keeps my nephew entertained for hours on end, and anyone with a 20 month old would know that is no small feat. Its hardly my fault my nephew refuses to watch greg. Its not that greg is not good, but Sam is my nephews fav, so showing him greg dvds just upsets him. He'll listen to gregs songs though, jst wnt watch him. Greg was great though, i have many happy memories of him when i was a small child.
There's no need to RIP Greg Wiggle or Greg Page. They are both alive & doing well. Greg's DVDS remain the Wiggles' biggest money makers, making the majority of their earnings. His 5 t.v. series were included in the Sprout network contract. The new "best of" CD & DVD both prominently feature Greg Wiggle. Greg received an honorary doctorate with them last September. Greg has returned to music & the stage with solo shows, the first of which sold out without an hour. Greg is the first & the best.
for me their both equil. I love greg and i grew up watching him. But my nephew refuses to watch anyone but sam, so as long as he keeps entertaining my nephew, im happy, cos if he does it, well then i dont, and i can just leave him to watch the tv and do everything else i need to do.

i say well said. My nephew who is 18 months old loves sam the best acutally. Now thats not to say he doesnt adore greg too, because he does. But when we ask him who he wants to watch, he says sam. If its sam he gets up and dances and sings along, wheras if its greg, he tends just to sit there and sing along. He doesnt get near as excited. We are taking him to the live shows in december and cant wait!

if youve ever watched wiggles before (i do with my son) then you'd realise that sam, the new yellow wiggle was already a part of the wiggles and did a great job hes funny! better that than some total wierdo...but still ppl whinge..
I miss Greg...I don't like that guy, normally it would be because I don't like change, but I don't like his voice or his face or anything...I guess I'll get used to his face eventually, but I don't really enjoy his voice. They should have continued without a yellow one in my opinion.
I think it may be that his voice has been classically trained and it can be difficult to sing those sorts of songs with an operatically trained voice> I know I have that problem myself!

In my family's case it will always be GREG. We love his gentle personality, and his sweet smooth voice. Even though Greg is not with The Wiggles at the moment, and Sam is [probably] temporarily taking his place, he IS a pretty good singer. :] Maybe it's the fact that his voice is a little different or that he's the new yellow wiggle that people don't like him. But even if Greg's replacement IS permanent, we still have to be grateful because at least three of the wiggles are still alive and healthy. :]

Sam is awesome! He is a very talented singer and he is a great stage performer. Having said that, so was Greg. We all have preferences and opinions and that doesnt make one of them better than the other. Think of it this way...Lucky there was someone like Sam ready to step in or todays generation of kids (like my little one) would not have the Wiggles to watch at all! Well done to both of them for their contributions to what is the greatest kids musical group in Australia :D

I have been a fan of the wiggles since the tv show started. Greg was definitely a strong presence in the band. But you know every good band has a "voice". Greg was it. I like the other guys as well. They should have at least found someone with his charisma and nature. No offence to Sam.

Say what you will, but kids love these guys, my daughter made me a believer... and Sam is a fantastic singer. Remember that Greg hand picked Sam to replace him. When you are the world's #1 Kid's music act in the world, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

I really like Sam, much better then Greg, no offence. They all do such a great job. I took my son to their concert in Saskatoon, Canada in October, Sam did a great job and I had more fun at the concert than my son did!

Greg was great. I grew up watching him myself.
Sam is doing a great job though. He keeps my nephew entertained for hours on end, and anyone with a 20 month old would know that is no small feat. Its hardly my fault my nephew refuses to watch greg. Its not that greg is not good, but Sam is my nephews fav, so showing him greg dvds just upsets him. He'll listen to gregs songs though, jst wnt watch him. Greg was great though, i have many happy memories of him when i was a small child.

There's no need to RIP Greg Wiggle or Greg Page. They are both alive & doing well. Greg's DVDS remain the Wiggles' biggest money makers, making the majority of their earnings. His 5 t.v. series were included in the Sprout network contract. The new "best of" CD & DVD both prominently feature Greg Wiggle. Greg received an honorary doctorate with them last September. Greg has returned to music & the stage with solo shows, the first of which sold out without an hour. Greg is the first & the best.

for me their both equil. I love greg and i grew up watching him. But my nephew refuses to watch anyone but sam, so as long as he keeps entertaining my nephew, im happy, cos if he does it, well then i dont, and i can just leave him to watch the tv and do everything else i need to do.

i say well said. My nephew who is 18 months old loves sam the best acutally. Now thats not to say he doesnt adore greg too, because he does. But when we ask him who he wants to watch, he says sam. If its sam he gets up and dances and sings along, wheras if its greg, he tends just to sit there and sing along. He doesnt get near as excited. We are taking him to the live shows in december and cant wait!

I miss Greg...I don't like that guy, normally it would be because I don't like change, but I don't like his voice or his face or anything...I guess I'll get used to his face eventually, but I don't really enjoy his voice. They should have continued without a yellow one in my opinion.

In my family's case it will always be GREG. We love his gentle personality, and his sweet smooth voice. No one will ever be able to touch Greg's accomplishments and achievements with his "beloved Wiggles" as he calls them. The best part is that not only do his fans have sixteen years of his DVDS and
CDS, but new fans - adult and children - are still discovering him every day.

Even though Greg is not with The Wiggles at the moment, and Sam is [probably] temporarily taking his place, he IS a pretty good singer. :] Maybe it's the fact that his voice is a little different or that he's the new yellow wiggle that people don't like him. But even if Greg's replacement IS permanent, we still have to be grateful because at least three of the wiggles are still alive and healthy. :]
