@93Gamerz Lmao you're a fool to think this is fake. I filmed this with 2008 Kodak M853 camera in zoom from my Flatscreen. Only reason the sound cut out was cause of the Windows Live Movie Maker kills audio when you fast forward your film. The glitch took a while to activate only because the game tries to figure out what happened to the mob, then it calculates the dragon falls to it's death. I platinumed the game & don't play it anymore, I have no idea if the glitch has been patched.

I went toe to toe with him on the bridge after lowering him down with an arrow just before starting new game plus. Of course i was lvl 100 with ornstein and lighting uchigatana

@1Aldreth Always next play through! You're just missing out on a dragon scale and the Drake Sword. The Drake Sword can be replaced very fast in the game, so it's not even that worth it, unless you're trying to get all the trophies :)

Those loots are from the skeletons, you didnt kill the drake, he comes back...it glitched through the floor due to loading constraints...not really a glitch so much as a waste of time...if you HAD ACTUALLY killed it you get 10k souls and a dragon scale...but this takes better equipment than what you have OR many many arrows OR lots of skill

Hey maybe you guys can help me out.  I follow all of the steps, save at the Garden bonfire, skip the blacksmith bonfire, run to the turret, shoot the dragon, dragon falls through the floor. And that's where it stops, I don't get the souls. Do I need to descend in a certain manner?

The dragon isn't dead, he flew off. Go back to the bridge and you'll see he has returned, but you can't shoot him from above like that anymore. I did this by accident with a soul arrow spell, and the dragon flew off, but, was still there when I approached from the front of the bridge.

I killed him using estus flasks and shooting him Soul Spears and Soul Arrows.. when he was about 20% his health, he flew up and died just above me, and I didn't get any loot... :( don't know what happend

Just to let you know, Thantos, I was able to defeat the Red Dragon legitimately tonight by means of shooting it's tail off first for the Drake Sword then got back to the bridge and use pure melee tactics with a Black Knight Sword +5 to kill it.

@rej72380 That's awesome! I have yet to try to do it legit! I was going to on a new character I made, but then the dragon accidentally died when I shot his tail with an arrow (yet another glitch -.-) and I was going to try on my new game plus... but Skyrim came out.

There is a Drake Sword. That's about it. And the 10,000 Souls. And well.. yeah i know how you feel. I hate glitches. And i actually did this by accident. I didn't even know there was a glitch. I actually killed him while trying to get his tail = Drake Sword. And BAM! .. i got 10k. Not sure if this is a new glitch kill but i managed to kill him doing that. Now i feel like i really didn't kill him. I didn't accomplish nothing at all. :(

This game was a bit of a disappointment for me. Glitches, cheats, and over-powered combos (ring of fog+TWOP+big spell or big wpn or backstab after backstab) made pvp ridiculous. Heavy armor is still near worthless in pvp and most of pve. Backstabs are still easy to pull off = everyone trying to go for one every time = lame.

@thekatana09 Understandable. PVP is tough to be amazing with such basic controls - power attack, regular attack, roll/dodge, two-hand main weapon. The glitches I was unhappy with as well. Yet, I have to say the gameplay and pvp was a lot better than Demon's Souls and is still playing. Due to the damage calculator made sense most of the time... But SCREW Gods Wraith >:| I hope they continue with the franchise and maybe make it gory-er like Dead Space :3 That may be pushing it though.

The glitch abusers pvp at 60-80.

120 is either in the forest for hardcore practice, (i was killing 3 people at once by myself.) Or in the Kiln. The Kiln is the official pvp spot at 120. I'd try those places out.

@scratch189 I've personally reigned over the forest for an hour and I began to talk to some of the guys I was one shot killing. I was level 180 and they were like 30-35 LOL. I think it's a glitch, or so I hope... cause that wasn't fair. But around the end of that, some dude like 2 shot me. So, I figure he was even higher level then I was o.o

@aP1atypus There are many ways you can approach this (to survive his flames.) Flash Sweat - necromancy ability for fire resist fire. Fire DEF rings, the Greatshield of Artorias or Dragon's Crest shield and lastly from the Path of the Dragon covenant turning in 30 Dragon Scales gives you the Dragon stone. Combine that with the Dragon Head Stone that gives a fire power increases and 25% more damage :]

Cool, I only have turned in 3 scales. I dont understand how to use the dragon eye to invade another world. I have a Black Knights shield which blocks alot of fire damge but it eventually breaks my block. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

@aP1atypus The Dragon Eye is honestly stupid :/ You have to put in down in a pvp area and someone else with the stone has to accept your challenge. Then you face of in a pvp duel, winner gets Demon Souls and a Dragon Scale. Loser doesn't lose anything. 1 play through in the game should give you like 11-12.

@aP1atypus Stand in the safe area on the bridge and wait, the dragon will become annoyed and fly down and into the middle, hack at him until dead, good luck, use the safe area.

I did this by accident after killing the knight I saw the broken wall shot it, went back down and heard the roar and got 10k souls but I haven't been to the cave you started in just rang the first bell so don't know if there are special circumstances you need for this to work.

@monktryface Try using different bonfires, it's very random since it's a glitch. So try resetting the field with different bonfires. I tried it again at the 2nd bonfire in Undead Burg and it worked.

@ibrarmfaiz I had that problem for a week then he just showed up. Unfortunately it seems to be glitchy and completely random. All I can say is keep going back to check ever now and again while advancing in the game. And yes you are in the right tower

I did it last night. After spending some time in the depths I went back to the berg and heard the dragon, so I went up the tower and he was there. Shot one arrow to the back and he jumped off the bridge. So, it still works and it looks like its completely random. I then went and beat the gaping dragon in the depths and went into blightown where I got cornered and fell off a ledge and lost 25,000 souls that did not respawn at the spot where I fell.. Bullshit!! so annoying!!lol

I wanted to go to the blacksmith and buy the crest so I could open that door in darkroot (thats why I was carrying the souls instead of using them)..I should not have entered blightown carrying that many souls. I guess I was feeling bold after defeating the drake and gaping dragon..Costly LESSON LEARNED :/

@richierich49er Opening that gate doesn't really matter. Especially if you're in the covenant of the cat. But if you don't care about the covenant, opening that gate allows you to farm 7k souls every 4mins. Shoot you from 30-65 in no time.

I also seem to be getting engaged in battle and killing characters I should be interacting with( the fatty knights and the lady sorcerer that appear in firelink shrine just started attacking me suddenly when I appeared from the shortcut) I havent even explored the catacombs. I am all over the place:)

I tried it last night just as you did and the drake never showed up in the tower. So then I crossed the bridge and he showed back up. I then went back up the tower to have a look and he was not there. Came back down the tower and back to the bridge and he was sitting on the stoop..F Him lol no time for his games haha

@bergaflickal This glitch seems incredibly random. Try to respawn the dragon by using other bonfires. That's what did the trick for me.

Ok I am level 26 and getting my ass kicked by bosses in every direction lol! Super frustrating. Last one I beat were the gargoyles. Capra Demon destroys me when I walk in. Moonlight butterfly pretty much the same. Also explored blightown then got poisoned by the darts and in new londo however, I cant fight the ghosts until i find more of the item that allows me to fight them. Any suggestions on what area to focus on.. I think my vitality and endurance may be too low ( 14 & 12) ?

@richierich49er Yeah get Vit to at least 15-25. The butterfly boss is way easy! It's a dodging game while waiting for it to land. Then two hand your weapon then go wild until you start seeing it prepare to explode - then repeat the process. Capra Demon is easy, the dogs are what kill you. Fight him with patients and watch his movements. Avoid the ghost area of Londo. You only go there to remove curse (But there is a curse resist ring there) Lastly there is a shop that sells the curse items :)

@Jehuty989 No.. You get nothing if you do it this way, not even the Drake Sword. Though, rumor has it Dragon Scales can be farmed by the blue lighting spitting wyvern in Drakes Valley. Very rare drop rate though... You can get to them by going the opposite direction that I took from that bonfire shown above at the start of the clip.

@ThantaosErebos -Thanks for commenting back! The first few times I faced them I did not know what to expect. I have not played Demon Souls so it takes a minute to get used to a game like this. Most bosses in modern games you just walk in and defeat immediately, Kinda have to be prepared and have a tactic in this game.Frustrating then rewarding when you get it down

The last boss I defeated were the Gargoyles. Since then I have done some exploring and item hunting(killing knights and such) I was able to get the red sorcerer looking suit in blighttown, the grass crest shield(not sure if thats the correct name), and the black knight sword (been using the drake) this equipment has been working great however I walked in on the capra demon and got quickly cornered and destroyed.

I didn't go to the bonfire in Darkroot or anything though, I just randomly fired an arrow at the Dragon after killing the black knight and -wow- he just disappeared. Walked back down the tower and then got the 10k souls to come up.

i was running randomly today when i heard the roar and i got 10,000 souls.

i didn't even kills the knight in the tower. He wasn't there when i went to try to kill him.

@richierich49er This will be a long comment. But, trying to fight him legit is a very hard and fun challenge! On the middle of the bridge shoot an arrow at him on the opposite side of the stairs. The dragon will challenge you and jump closer to you as a challenge. He'll breath fire for a while, but stay put or you'll be engulfed in flame. He'll then jump in the center - at this point you want to be at the stairs. (Reply number 1)

@richierich49er (Reply number 2) Slash at his feet until you see his head lifting up (The Red Dragon will be preparing to breath an AoE fire around himself) While seeing him preparing this attack, run down the stairs to safety! When he's done (He'll do it 1 or 2 times before he pauses) run up and slash at his feet again. (He might fly to his original idle spot - just repeat the process. Tips will be have Vit at least a minimum of 25 to take 2-3 hits and equip any fire resistance gear :)

@ThantaosErebos-Thank you for that. last time I played I got him to walk toward the middle of the bridge and I was able to run past him to pick up the sword, light the bonfire and open the shortcut gate. I went back out and he was gone but I see he reappears and occasionally flies off. Perhaps I will try to kill him on his next visit. I am only level 24 with most leveling up being strength and dexterity..I may have to do some soul farming to upgrade other areas

I found this out as well I didn't know what happened until I noticed an extra 12,000 souls in my inventory and then i laughed my ass off at the realization that he jumped off into the abyss below and died. BTW if you want the drake sword BEFORE you do this go under the bridge and shoot about 20 heavy arrows into its tail and you'll get it automatically, alternatively use 40 standard arrows.

@Reaper46234 Yeah, I made a video of obtaining the Drake Sword as well :) I do believe the bonfire does matter - I tried it before hand and it didn't work until I touched that specific bonfire. /shrug Either way they need to take it out :( Cause 1 shot boss kills isn't the funniest thing. I guess the extra souls was nice though.

@ThantaosErebos I think it may be random because I did that from the bonfire under the bridge and it killed him but either way I don't think they need to fix it because if you want to kill it legitimately then you can but if not you could just do this and it doesnt realy give you any kind of advantage over other players other than the 12k souls because that little niche the dragon is guarding doesn't go any where
