No need for a fight, young squire! All are given the right for their opinions, facts, etc. I say every man to his belief. Just MY opinion to the FACT, doesn't mean that the music is bad. I like the reggae sounds; the messages are deep.
To comment on my own words...I never forced a religion or even a cultural morality on my kids (who are no 29 and 35 years old). I am not even much a smoker, though on occasion I may toke a little; honest. We listened to Marley, Steel Pulse, etc. because I AM a lifelong musician and appreciate the peoples who are Rastafari, for real... My kids know who they are; GOLDEN RULE and all!!
Our creator speaks to us in any way we see/perceive Him. I'm sure He would like for us all to stop arguing about whose version of HIM is correct. He is above all of that, and so should we be. ONE PEOPLE ONE LOVE. Blessings!
Again, such beautiful music, to say that they sing about Haille Selassie, who will never be the King of kings or the Lord of lords. We who know, JESUS CHRIST is the ALMIGHTY ONE; KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS! I won't take away from the music, though. I do feel sorry for their ignorance, but I like the music.
