  • @zacub ain't that the truth

  • Esse cara é único...

  • wot a legened........

  • No need for a fight, young squire! All are given the right for their opinions, facts, etc. I say every man to his belief. Just MY opinion to the FACT, doesn't mean that the music is bad. I like the reggae sounds; the messages are deep.

  • To comment on my own words...I never forced a religion or even a cultural morality on my kids (who are no 29 and 35 years old). I am not even much a smoker, though on occasion I may toke a little; honest. We listened to Marley, Steel Pulse, etc. because I AM a lifelong musician and appreciate the peoples who are Rastafari, for real... My kids know who they are; GOLDEN RULE and all!!

  • Our creator speaks to us in any way we see/perceive Him. I'm sure He would like for us all to stop arguing about whose version of HIM is correct. He is above all of that, and so should we be. ONE PEOPLE ONE LOVE. Blessings!

  • rastafari!!!

  • Again, such beautiful music, to say that they sing about Haille Selassie, who will never be the King of kings or the Lord of lords. We who know, JESUS CHRIST is the ALMIGHTY ONE; KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS! I won't take away from the music, though. I do feel sorry for their ignorance, but I like the music.

  • @TheStellyman shut up

  • @hdem991 shut up. jesus is the most popular figure in history. making him the coolest. u'r just jealous. bitch.

  • "His Imperial Majesty Emporer Haile Selassie I, the FIRST and the LAST! King of Kings Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and Elect of God" aka JAH! (Lij) RAS TAfari Makonnen

  • Praise Jahoshua, Lord of Lords

    and Savior

  • Smoking ganja is not what the Rastafarian preach, rather the solution to human problems.Ganja leaf with it's 36 spiritual implication as a diverse characters in human behaviors when GANJA is applicative to the chemistry of the body.Do not SMOKE GANJA when you do not belong to the spiritual circle or when the 36 connotations is not apply, then PEOPLE lost contact to the brain which connects the junction box of the spirit's then People get MADNESS.

  • @akhimie It is sacred

  • @dude75able Yes my buddy, it's sacred especially when applying the 22second connotations.

    Bless to you Jah children.

  • @akhimie Yes-i

    blessings

  • @akhimie Hey bredren..... Jah gave the ganja as a gift to his children. Its for all Rastamen, Native Shamans, Yogis, Israelites.

Not good for drunken frat boys tho

  • @dude75able JAH JAH JAH,the lord jah gave human the authorities to dominate everything ever created by Him even the demonic angels sub-come to humans.....Make no mistake the ganja leaf it's sacred ..The leaf ganja was a spiritual herbs design for a special prepositions, colors or no colors, natives and non natives uses the herbs for a difference reasons.Africans in the west call it STONES .Smoke no ganja if you do not no the 36 spiritual implications .

  • @akhimie I know.

  • @akhimie No true. You should not attempt to speak for others. Especially since you lack facts.

  • @musiccalgary Speaking for others made them to reach their higher levels in their spiritual comprehensions.

    You might not understand it.

  • @akhimie Made them to reach their higher levels?? Go smoke another one Mushmind.

  • @musiccalgary Smoking Ganga gonna kill you, will give your soul and spirit to everlasting illusions things in effeminacy.

  • ganja never killed anyone. But the laws prohibitting it have.

  • It's so easy really...All religions, of the world have a place for good and evil...Rasta is a place to praise a modern man, (Hele Selasi) who has shown us through his leadership that caring for all of the peoples of the world is a positive way to survive.

  • @TheTbear111 Yes-i

  • I am a white American that exposed my children to Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, Lambsbread, etc. to teach them the "GOLDEN RULE" !!

They are now adults going theier own way with a One Love spirit in their hearts.

    PROUD DAD.....TBEAR11

  • @TheTbear111 big respect fellow brudda!!

  • @TheTbear111 You did excellent, brother.

My daughter is only 7 years old and she's Rasta because of her Dad's positive influence.

    ONE LOVE

  • @TheTbear111

    t

Teaching the Golden rules to the Jah children is important but explaining the 36 spiritual connotations is more advisable.SMOKE NO GANJA IF YOU DO NOT KNOW IT IMPLICATIONS.

  • @TheTbear111 Congratulations on the brainwashing. My kid is nothing like me, grew up to be her own person. She isn't encumbered by my dogma.

  • @musiccalgary And I'm sure she'll happily abide to the system's regulations and outrageous laws. TheTbear111 did his children more of a favor than you could possibly imagine in YOUR brainwashed head. Time to wake up buddy.

  • @musiccalgary

he didnt say he forced his beliefs on them, just that he exposed them to ttruth and righteousness

  • @musiccalgary there's a difference between teaching and brainwashing. what else is a parent for, if not to teach?

  • @whimzeejmachine No such thing as "teaching someone to be you". If you had a healthy ego that wouldn't require any explanation...

    Poor kid.

  • @musiccalgary actually, a healthy ego would show that you can learn from someone without becoming them, it's easy to be your own person while learning from those around you which you respect.

  • @whimzeejmachine Go tell that to your brainwashed little robots, they'll either agree or suffer the consequences of not agreeing with you. :)

  • @musiccalgary i'm sorry that your daddy issues made you this way, maybe with some time and intense psychoanalysis you might be able to see the world like the rest of us.

  • @TheTbear111 God bless

  • @TheTbear111 JAH LIVES JAH LIVES EVER LIVING EVER FAITHFUL JAH RAS TAFARI.great to hear this cause i plan on doing the same with my chidren.praise the most high always and he shall direct thy path.peace breden.

  • Jah Rastafari

    selassie the first

  • Im an atheist, but damn i love this song, and all reggae. I understand the feeling of belief, I just dont get it from a belief in god. Anyways, respect and amazing song!

  • @TylerEvolvesP4F its not about believing, i know him.. God is real, like a home and creator.. it makes so much sense

  • @oravcik Yeah, a lot of sense!

  • @TylerEvolvesP4F I hope that Jah shines his light on you someday.

    Peace be with you

  • me and my friend smoked a shit ton of weed and he listened to this song and started praising jah and having a fucked up high spiritual shit happen. rastarfari is

  • @PerezBeatz why the vulgarity? Jah is great.

You need to smoke less, and listen to what Jah says to you

  • Black man arise, but don't commit the same mistake white men did,and even do;don't be racist, equal right for every man, skin color is not a difference.Smart people are diferent to stupid ones, but not cause of the skin.I felt very sorrow when i lived in Africa and people called me macua, white guy.I don't represent all white people on heart, ever existed.I can't response for all they enormous mistakes,i'm just a human, like all my sisters and brothers.Let's be all sisters and brother, equal rights, man.

  • @scattomane You dammm right brother.Am no color human,i love what is right for jah children.White or Black have spiritual connection to Jah.The Image someone project represent the colors of his/her God.Hence the Almighty JAH created two things apart. The righteous and Evil ,woman and man, night and day etc..So try and nice to all races.

  • @chegts well i guess that is your opinion & mine right.

  • i love when Peter says "magnificent one" in this song..

  • always pray to JAH

  • The "live" version is also really amazing and awesome ! Pete was a great singer and wonderful musician !

  • peter tosh was more aggressive to his osng than bob marley though

  • Lords of Lords and Savior!

  • yeah i grew up on bob marley i think first heard redemption song wen i was 5 or 6. Even covers like jack johnson and ben harpers high tide or low tide can not do bob justice. He was an living example of kind soul. I believe wen he made it big he used to let a lot of people stay at one of his big houses in Jamaica because the had such a kind heart.

  • this song doesnt go loud enough

  • Why Why Why do all my inspirations of RasTafari have to be dead?

  • Perchè perchè perchè il reggae continua a farmi battere il cuore?

  • Cyan ya translate that ta English?

  • why ,why, why, reggae sound you are the tam tam of my heart?

  • @theskatekids If only you could see that these guys are only dead by body...but by spirit they are immortal.

  • lol i had an realization last night while cruising the highway listening to Bob's Jamming song, I think your right Bob is better, yet Peter is still great.

  • Ever listen to Redemption Song? (Talk about an enlightend mind...) Still Both are great

  • thats ur opinion.

  • thats also ur opinion darin ! u really comparing the two here lol ! damn !

  • Peter Tosh's music is a lot better then Bob's, yet Bob had more radio friendly songs, I still enjoy them both equally.

  • Sorry! Peter Tosh is good but he will never ever be compared to Bob Marley. Bob Marley is an epic of all times of music. but Peter is still good reggae star

  • @Benghazison You don't know what you're talking about. At all.

  • i love peter tosh

  • so much better live though

  • Lords of Lords and Savior!

  • Ya dunno peter tosh was assassinated by the government, and he was killed on sept 11

  • It's black that hold the world in music, sports even in government. I feel good and proud to be a black.

Tosh you're a true legend RIP

  • you racist

  • it is not about the color but the soul. if your soul is pure and not poluted by the media and america you know what is good :) hello from serbia :]

  • I have loved this song all my life, real BIG TUNE.

I am a Christian but I am looking to become Rastafarian. I dont care for the catholic, Baptist and etc churches because I believe that they are to political and they are not what they preach about

  • @larebear63 JUST BE A GOOD MAN RASTA'S ARE POLITICAL TOO,THEY BELEIVE IN BLACK NATIONALISM BUT DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.JUST BE A GOOD CHRISTIAN READ YOUR BIBLE AND DO NO HARM,AND DONT ABUSE THE OLD GANGA, BUT IF YOU INSIST JOIN 12 TRIBES OR BETTER STILL GO TO ETHIOPIA AND READ ABOUT MENNELIK 11 THE GREATEST KING IN THE 19TH AND EARLY 20TH CENTRY,HE EXPANDED ETHIOPIA BUILT RAILWAYS ALSO DEAFEATED ITALY AT ADWA IN 1896.THIS SONG DOES GIVE YOU A REAL LIFT REAT SONG. • @lukekel5 fo sho

  • @lukekel5 ya buddy keep it real

  • @lukekel5 Well to be clear the lyrics are all about fundamentalist religious zealotry -- so as long as singing along to that suits you then fill yer boots.

He's the mighty one? He who? A male god? Yeah ok... :)

  • @lukekel5

    couldn't agree more bro.

  • @lukekel5 Who cares what color you are? The guy singing the song. Hate to be the one but... Peter Tosh wasn't hanging out with any skinny white dudes. Ha.

  • Comment removed

  • @neldarh HAHAH THis is THE MIGHTY,, the begining and the last!! the HIGHEST SONG.. MADE FOR GOD!!! our creator

we live for God...and we die To WIN

  • @neldarh well idk how u plan on keeping GOD out of this song... its pretty damn easy to see

  • @neldarh You can't keep god out of this song, the title means "God Is..." -- this song is what Peter said not what you say. And it is ALL about god.

  • @lustntee Im Naijan as well. Be at peace bruda.

  • @lustntee 90% of the people who listen to this don't even realize how religious the lyrics are. They're too vapid to listen. :)

  • @musiccalgary yes just like bob or capelton real good rasta music every one likes it

  • @sdcrazy194 Indeed. Just like Bob. Such great music that no one even realizes they are singing christian fundamentalist lyrics.

Hell, most of these asshole don't even realize Jah is an abbreviation for Jehovah. Ha. Good on Bob, he tricked millions of white kids into singing his word. Ha.

  • @musiccalgary yes im white but im lernin rasta i dont just like bob or peter becuse they smoke i actully know what they talkin about lol people dont listin to the words or menings eny more just what they look like and ect if people knew what they were talkin about it all rasta meenings and such hell that y reggia was made lol

  • @musiccalgary bob never tricked anyone, he just told the truth in his lyrics..
