I think is something have to do with the girl having a really bad boyfriend, but not admitting it and still wants to be with him. She falls in love with the singer, but still wants to be with her previous boyfriends and she's very depressed about who to choose. At the end, she chooses the singer over her bad boyfriend, this is what I'm thinking it's about! I think the lyrics are kinda hinting that this is the story, especially the monologue thingy at the end.
