thanks. no attached pickup. Right now I use an Audio Technica AT-3035. It's plugged into an Audio Kontrol 1 audio interface which plugs into the macintosh. For recording software I just use

Garageband with no added plugins or anything. Video I capture directly into the mac using the built in camera and Imovie. Export the finished clip to Quicktime.

Hi Lynn. the only thing i've changed that i think has helped quite a bit is saving the finished video in Quicktime instead of the default Imovie format (m4v). It shrinks the picture which i don't like but the audio transfer into youtube format is way better.

I like this guitar tone, but Taylor NS54-ce is obsolete, not available in most of the places, can anyone suggest me a better alternate.

they still make higher line versions like the NS74-ce (i think it's called?). I played one of those at the time i bought this one and Loved it, but it was a little more money than i could spend. I don't regret the 54 at all, but i'd like to play another 74 some time and buy it.
