interesting interpretation. The first part is slower than i have heard it. It is an extremely difficult piece though. Because of the slow part...not the fast. :)
"That has to be the most difficult piece to play of all time."

LOL! Are you serious? This doesn't even touch a Beethoven Sonata, I'm more than positive that you have never heard of a man named Liszt, and you would die from a heart attack if you glanced at a single sheet of anything by Rachmaninoff.
Anyway, this is an interesting interpretation. It's nice to hear something new.
Ooplex, have you even attempted to play this? It is not as easy as it sounds; the quality is not only based on playing the correct notes, but interpretation as well.
I agree that this is not "the most difficult piece to play of all time", but I do not feel it is plausible to compare these composers to each other. Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Beethoven, and Liszt are all different composers and present different styles of music.

The coda makes this piece and that is one of the best interpretations of it I've heard on Youtube, and we're talking Cortot, Perlemuter, Zimmerman...

Sublime. That has to be the most difficult piece to play of all time. Such anger and extraordinary passion! C'est magnifique.

Yes, I've played Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninoff and I love all of them, but Chopin remains the best to me.

There is a huge difference between "the most difficult piece to play of all time" and "the best to me." It doesn't take a pianist to know that.
What Rachmaninoff and Liszt have you played? (Just wondering.)

Amen to that.
