It easily hits over 150mph on course and the wing does not cause it to do wheelies. Its fine if you dont like it but at least educate yourself before blabbing on stupidly.

@ThatOneKidThatSkis Umm yeah it is. That spoiler gives him aerodynamics of a minivan, anything over 130 MPH and he'll start doing wheelies. Turning at a higher speed could lift the back end too much and spin him out or even flip.

Do me a favor and look at the front of the car, see those canards and the HUGE lip/splitter on the voltex bumper, those push the front of the car into the ground, I promise theyre not just for looks (oh wait, you probably have no clue what any of those terms mean.) This is a full fledged race car, nothing on it is "just for looks" all aero is done to improve handling.

@TheGoodDevil7 first what does that even mean, second how is that relavant. The reason it sticks up so far is that it get around the air curents cut by the car thus can get into fresh thicker air and thus provide more downforce in turn making the car handle better.

When air passes over the car, most of it goes over the spoiler, but some goes through it pushing the spiler upwards The more space you have, the more air gets inbetween. Wind can come from different diferctions and give the large gap ampfies the effect. Like wings on an airplane, air goes over top and under, not just over top.

@TheGoodDevil7 wow, ok Airplanes use areofoils which don't directly provide lift, rather create lower pressure on top of the wing in turn pulling the airplane up. As far as the car wing goes yes air flows under it but because of the angle of the wing the air does not lift up the air pushing on top creates virtually infinetly more downforce than what ever lift if there actually is any that is created. maybe you should draw a diagram then hopefully it will help you understand basic physics.

Some spoilers are just for looks, however the stock spoiler on the evo is a fully functioning spoiler creating downforce, it does hurt tops speed slightly but not by much. Oh really only pretty sure? Well when talking with an actual evo owner/driver/racer who knows wtf he is talking about you should be DAMN SURE of what your saying.
