  • I always never liked this song because of the stereotype of an indian chanting. Us native people are great singers and the composer of this song could have used a better singer to let mainstream media and non-natives know that real native people have talented singing voices and sing without chanting.

  • No group of people have suffered more than The Native Americans, The True Americans. And, through it all, they have maintained there dignity and kept their culture. I think that a time will come when the Native American will again rule over his beloved homeland, and I think that time is already beginning. The material hoarding world is already disintegrating. I love this chant. Thanks very much for posting it.

  • i love this song

  • beatiful video

  • This is NOT ENIGMA! The name of this song is "Yeha-Noha"- Sacred Spirits:

  • a ra ne ou ou ~ sha ra ye ou ou~ sha ra ye ~chanting na nong a rang~

  • Yep white man sure did good job in fucking them over and, but thenk god for the mexican and all that immigration, there welll push them out.

  • Enigma took that from the "Sacred Spirit" recording the elder who sings the chant his name is Kee Chee Jake of Chinle, AZ. He is Native American(Navajo or the correct name is Dineh). He sing about a game between the giant and the owl. If anybody want to know more in depth about the meaning of the song just ask. Would like to explain because I am Navajo and knows his language very well. Thank u Black Bear

  • THIS IS NOT ENIGMA! Yeha- Noha is a song recorded in 1994 by the German musical project known under the name of Sacred Spirit. It was the first single from the album Chants and Dances of the Native Americans. It was sung by the late Navajo elder Kee Chee Jake from Chinle, Arizona. The audible portions of the song say:

... shaa ninánóh'aah (you give it back to me)

... Yé'iitsoh jinínáá léi' (... The Giant says again & again...)

    ... ninánóh'aah (...give it back)
